this was a great for a low budget. the pool was lovely, although be aware the entertainment is from about 7am until midnight so there is no peace and quiet, and it can be heard loudly from your room. the sun beds were generally fine but a few were broken, and there were not enough umbrellas to go round. the entertainment itself was great, and the entertainment staff were very friendly. the nearby beach with free sun beds and umbrellas for hotel guests was delightful - the best part of the holiday for me. the room was very good. very clean every day, comfy beds, a gorgeous large balcony with a sea view, and lovely bathroom with good shower. the hotel as a whole was very clean and beautifully decorated. the food was generally not the best. breakfast was good, though there were often not the right cutlery or crockery. lunch and dinner at the main restaurant were quite limited, and food was not of the best quality. we much preferred the a la carte restaurant, but there was still fairly limited choice. the location is okay. it’s a ten minute walk from the beautiful old town, with lots of great things to see, but there was no supermarket within 2 miles. something we were not prepared for was the lack of english speakers. the reception staff spoke good english, but no one else in the hotel did, making it fairly difficult to order food and drinks, understand the entertainment, or generally communicate with staff. some staff were very friendly but others seemed annoyed at us for not understanding italian. be aware that the “all inclusive” element does not include wifi or all alcoholic drinks. the bar closes at 10pm and you are limited as to what drinks are included. also, getting water was very hard! we were not allowed to fill up large bottles, nor purchase them. in order to get drinks, you had to ask at the bar and you would be given one small cup and have to keep going back. this is a good choice for a family with young children, looking for something budget friendly, prepared to generally stay in the hotel or beach.

Ciro was the highlight of our stay. His energy was incredible and he was so kind. His entertainment varied from aqua gym to dancing to singing performances in the evening. He was so enthusiastic and had a clear passion for his job. Thank you Ciro for making our holiday so special

The hotel from reception looked quite pleasing, but that was before all the dramas began to unfold. So, all inclusive, does not in fact include all inclusive. Food is included but only wine, beers, soft drinks and local Rum and Gin is included in all inclusive up to 10pm. If you want anything else its additional costs, Wi-Fi is also an additional cost. The rooms were okay clean, but the beds looked like something out of a Hostel or prison, extremely small and uncomfortable with springs that shot straight into your back. Bedding were just sheets with one pillow that was so flat you may as well not have one, the icing on the cake was the extremely rough blankets that were situated at the bottom of the cupboard. The room contained no freshwater bottles which for a 4-star hotel is absolutely shocking. The shower in the bedroom was an experience, the hose was damaged, and the water was going everywhere, they came to replace it and changed the shower head for some reason to one that did not fit the wall fitting, but that wasn’t the worst of it all, the shower head that they replaced was broken so water splashed everywhere. We gave up at that point and decided to live with this drama. Food was awful. But the worst to be seen was the wine that came from a dispenser. We are in Sicily with lots of vineyards and you are using wine out of dispensers that tasted like vinegar not even fit for consumption. It was decided then that eating at the hotel was not an option and that if we want to have a good meal we would have to eat out. The food was extremely poor, breakfast, lunch and dinner with not many options for fresh salad and fruit which surprises me. Even something as simple as a fresh orange juice was impossible. The coffee was so bad you could not drink it, no option for people that cannot have dairy milk, or even if you are wheat intolerant. The only decent food was the fresh pizza that you could order but again this contained cheese from cows with no other options even though we tried to ask for goat’s cheese. I was really shocked as being in Sicily, fruit, wine, coffee and food should be exceptional, and they were when we went out for meals so just the hotel that did not live up to any expectations. The entertainment was loud and awful, even early in the morning. We have come on a short break to relax and enjoy ourselves not to have to listen to someone screaming at the top of their lungs at 08:00 in the morning. This hotel is not a 4-star hotel I would rate it more like a 2-star hotel, we all travel a fair bit and have to say this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed up and if we had known a bit more about the area would have moved hotels.

The hotel was shabby, not 4 star...more like 2 star..Rooms small, need updating beds and bedding poor quality. Food was poor quality- tinned or processed- not fresh produce. Lack of seating at meal times- on 2 occasions- no plates of glass wear. Pool was lovely, but again lack of beds for number of guests. Cleanliness was good and staff friendly. Entertainment was good and energetic team kept a happy vibe all day/ night. Pizza area best option, but slow. Demand high and only 1 pizza oven.

It was very clean, with daily room clean, sheets and towels changed. Beds not too bad although pillows are rubbish. Luckily we got a room with a balcony and pool view (although very small) 2 chairs so we could sit outside, without balcony you would be goosed. Very noisy hotel with loud music most of the day up to midnight. Entertainment repetitive. Food in main eating area awful and very repetitive, pizza restaurant good (we lived on Pizza and burger). Poor location so need a car, a few restaurants in the area mostly serving seafood (which I don't like), nearest clean beach 15 min drive, seafront near hotel full of rubbish. Parking gets bombed out so you have to be back early to get a spot. Coffee shop next door was amazing and done lovely sandwiches and icecream. Stay well away from Friday to Sunday as you will NOT get a sun bed as its the italians weekend get away and management prefer to accommodate the locals as oppose to any other nationalities.

A wonderful, friendly place to rest and relax. Great hotel service. You won't be bored in this place, there are many attractions for guests. During the day, there are games and activities for guests on the premises, led by the wonderful Maria! An amazing girl full of energy who entertains guests! Hotel very clean. The kitchen is very good. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The personnel is amazing, the hotel is two stars instead of four, and the food and beverages are the worst I have seen in any hotel in Europe. You can choose to stay at this hotel for just one or two days, but please do not reserve an all-inclusive room.

My partner & I have recently just got back from a long weekend here. Unfortunately we was both surprised at the fact the hotel was given a 4 star rating. We have been to lots of 4 star hotels and they have been much better than this. The main disappointment for us would be the all inclusive buffet, there was hardly any choice and if you was a fussy eater you would really struggle. The choice of the all inclusive drinks was poor too! Rooms were basic but clean and tidy. It served a purpose for us but it isn’t somewhere we would recommend.
