When we did the reservation we were told the price included breakfast. However, later when we arrived at the hotel the owner told us we had to pay for the breakfast separately! Although we ended up paying for it, it was the worst breakfast of my life! The worst part of the experience was actually going to bed and trying to get some sleep. There was a restaurant next door and there was one table which sat there till 3 am in the morning (Wednesday night) drinking and singing and talking loudly. We kindly requested that they be more quiet but they simply would not listen. We ended up calling our hotel’s owner at 12 at night to request him to call the next door restaurant to stop the noise. He said that the restaurant owner was his wife’s sister and that he did not want them to have an argument with them so he couldn’t do anything about it. He did, however, mentioned just before I hang up the phone at midnight that his room price did not include breakfast!!!! We had to start off the first day of our trekking (21 km) with just 3 hours of sleep. Overall, although the rooms were welcoming, the hotel owners have no idea of what hospitality management is and I think people like these should be banned from running such places.
