Sunrise Attitude

Sunrise attitude On arrival the guest reception was excellent and we were shown to our room as we had been on our travels for over 24hrs from the uk The next morning Reena took us around the resort which was very informative. The room was of good standard and cleaned to a good standard. Our maid always asked if the room was ok …it was. The beach is beautiful with a small bar service while enjoying your time in this area although a little windy at times Pool area Pools were cleaned daily as was our swim up room pool. Bars Excellent cocktails and rum tasting be careful! Entertainment This was around the bar areas …different every night some were very good. Restaurants All of good standard we preferred the Market as there was always a good choice of food. The social house was also one we visited on 4 occasions. Would I return…..?? I do not think that we have ever been on a holiday where all our needs were satisfied like this and we are accomplished travellers for over 40 years. We could not fault the staff and management of this resort. If you required any help it’s was always a YES and it got sorted nothing was too much trouble. Food for example you could put in a special request and it was delivered. It was my wife’s birthday while we were there she was treated like royalty and given a special meal and cake.Thank you Sunny. The staff are so friendly from all departments and what I enjoyed was having a little banter with some of them. Yes I would return I would like to thank the staff and management for making a holiday one to remember.

We are leaving the Sunrise today after a 10 day stay here. This hotel really is quite special. Distinguishable from the corporate chain type hotels on the island, the Sunrise Attitude oozes charm, warmth, intimacy and care. The grounds are lush and quaint and individual the rooms are well designed, beautifully clean and comfortable. There are two main bar areas next to the two different pools and both have wonderfully welcoming ambiance. The sea is accessible through a private gateway opening to a beautiful beach. The big differentiator on top of all of this is the staff. It would very easy to list names of individuals however this would feel amiss as this is a collective. This hotel is SO well run with a lead by example approach and a real feel that the staff are all personally invested and a part of this lovely place. One of our party has restricted mobility and uses a wheelchair. We got around easily and ALL the staff could not have been more caring and kind if it were their own family. All that we can say is that we leave with gratitude, THANK YOU Sunrise!. To the attitude group we have not stayed in your other hotels but the Sunrise is an absolute credit.

This was a much anticipated 50th birthday surprise holiday. Underwhelmed with our welcome but just unlucky with who we got. We had a villa, which the photos don’t do the outside space justice, it was beautiful. Please note, the parasol does move and close. I’m a fussy eater but the market buffet, had an enjoyable choice every day. There was always a lot of choice and it was presented well. Staff looked after you and made you feel welcome. It was a nice environment to eat. We ate once at Kot Nou, service was quick and friendly but we felt portion size alittle small, I should note we were asked if we wanted more. We ate lunch twice at the Taba J, tasty food and fast friendly service. Our favourite place to have lunch was Papaya. Food cooked fresh to order, again staff are very friendly and efficient. Should also mention, we picked up a great packed lunch, made to order, in a lovely basket when we had an early day trip. Good quality drinks, quick service. Great Pina Colada from Lovesh Beach across the road is beautiful, you can walk for miles. Quick but heartfelt Thankyou too; Maya who looked after us so well, checking we had everything we needed. Nishta at the Bazaar who took all my questions politely and explained about her culture , even showed me her family celebrating at the temple. Kavy who greeted us most days at the market. Showing us to our table with his great sense of humour, made us smile everyday. Dinesh who works at top speed in the restaurant but still has time to chat and smile and get your drinks double quick. Seena who cooked the best omelette at breakfast and never failed to ask us our plans for the day, what a lovely lady. Lovesh at the bar, Best pina colada !!!! Treated us to shots that certainly packed a punch, told me off with a smile, cause I sipped it like a cup of tea! Finally Sanjeev, who had the biggest smile for us every day as we passed. He even treated us to a ride in his Ferrari ( the hotel buggy). What a lovely guy. To all the wonderful staff at Sunrise Attitude, sincere thanks for all your hard work, it’s you that make the hotel so great.

We have just returned from the most incredible 2 week stay at the Sunrise Attitude. The staff can not do enough for you, they are super friendly and speak fantastic English. The hotel, is very clean, the food is amazing and there is plenty of choice at the buffets. The A La Carte for lunch was a big hit serving wraps, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas. The Social House (tapas) in the evenings was very good but I would recommend booking when you arrive as it can fill up quite quickly. The pools are cleaned every day and are fairly warm. We stayed in a swim up room, the pool although a little chilly was the perfect way to cool off after a hot day sunbathing. The rooms were cleaned every day, beds made, floors washed, bathroom/shower cleaned. The entertainment team were very friendly and there was plenty to do each day, evening entertainment was also very good. All in all we had a lush stay and will definitely be back!

As a first time day passing in a hotel, the hotel's atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. The staffs were so friendly especially the animators one and the Mr. Emanuel. Had some fun games to play with my husband. My birthday cake was so good. Overall I enjoyed a nice time celebrating my birthday there.
