Great location and really pleasant but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staffs: MrKrishna, Mr Arveend, Mr kunal Chef Robert and Mr kersley All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time. The best place to be with friends

Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday party at Sunset Reef Resort & Spa Hotel! It was all wonderfully organised! Everything was perfect, the location, the food, the service, the music, the atmosphere... Mr Arveed Sookha and team were so great and helpful! Always ready to accommodate and fulfill our wish! Highly recommend this place! Great value for money!

Our experience with Sunset Reef Resort & Spa was... neutral, to say the least. I'll start with the good. The food was excellent. We were there for two night and three days, and on both mornings, we received really good breakfast food. Toast, eggs, sausages, fries, pastries, fresh fruit and more. On night 1, we had an Indian-style open buffet (which was DELICIOUS) and on night 2, we had a smaller buffet, consisting of rice, pasta, chicken, fish and salad. Just as good. Our second good point was the staff. Special shout-out to Mr. Manoj of the front desk, who was really kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff who made our stay as comfortable as possible. It might be a weird thing to mention, but the bathroom was really nice. Fully equipped and clean. Supplied with multiple towels and no shortage of toilet paper and soap. It also had a handheld hose for the toilet and a bathtub. Now onto the negatives. The rooms were subpar. Only a single room with the minimum amount of furniture. Just bed, a cabinet, a wardrobe and two nightstands. It lacked a kitchenette; only had a tiny minifridge (that wasn't really cold). No sink, no silverware, no table. Also, no couch. We had an outdoor patio with chairs and a small table, but it was infested with ants. Scratch that, the entire hotel was infested with ants. The rooms, the bathrooms, the pool area, the reception. Huge black ants everywhere. Dunno if it was because we were so close to the beach, but it was really uncomfortable. I'm not done with the rooms. In addition to being barely furnished, they were also not well equipped. We had to ask for chairs and clothes hangers. The TV was defective, the safe was defective (they fixed it) and the hairdryer was defective. In conclusion... While the food was good and the staff was great, the rooms were average at best. Insects everywhere and not really clean. We enjoyed our stay there, but we're not likely to return. Three out of five.

We had the worst experience we have ever had as a family in a hotel. Hotels are clean! Hotels have menus, and clean white towels and clean bedding with fluffy pillows! This establishment has neither of the above. The staff don't communicate, set us up in a dirty room with filthy linen on the bed. The pillows on the beds are terrible, the beds are terrible - we woke up every morning with a sore body. Their Food is the worst I have set eyes on in all my years on earth. Unappealing to the eye, so unappealing to eat. I will never recommend this place to anybody. In Fact it should be closed down or sold to someone who knows how a Hotel should be run. We paid Half Board fees for food we never ate. So disappointing!!!!!!

Our recent stay at the Sunset Reef Resort & Spa in Pointe Aux Piments turned out to be a distressing experience, uncovering a stark dissonance between the enticing promises made on lastminute.com and the stark realities that awaited us. Despite the alluring reviews that had initially piqued our interest, our stay was marred by an array of vexing disappointments. From the very outset, it was palpable that the resort's showcased grandeur was far from genuine. The picturesque images of a luxurious escape clashed sharply with the shabby and antiquated guest house that greeted us upon arrival. The exterior was a canvas of faded paint, cracked walls, and a prevailing aura of abandonment that cast a pall of disappointment over our stay. One of the most egregious distortions was the resort's claim of being a beachfront property, a claim prominently touted on lastminute.com. We were led to believe in a tranquil beach haven, only to realize that accessing the "beach" entailed a protracted and inconvenient journey, rendering the convenience and proximity promised on the website nothing more than an illusion. Adding to our disillusionment was the dining experience at the resort. The breakfast buffet was bereft of variety and freshness, and the dining area resembled a lackluster cafeteria rather than a haven of culinary delight. The lack of zeal and attentiveness from the staff further exacerbated our growing sense of dissatisfaction. Furthermore, the overarching disappointment of our stay was so profound that we found ourselves forgoing a visit to the spa entirely. Given the myriad letdowns we had encountered across other facets of our stay, we struggled to muster any enthusiasm for the spa facilities. In summation, our encounter with Sunset Reef Resort & Spa underscored the disconcerting gap between the allure promised on lastminute.com and the stark realities that ultimately transpired. Deceptive advertising, lackluster amenities, and indifferent customer service converged to create an experience that fell woefully short of the expectations set by the platform. We emphatically urge potential patrons to exercise discernment when considering this resort and to explore alternative options that genuinely uphold the prospect of an enjoyable and memorable vacation.

The service was excellent.the food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the chop soy legume, salad poulet and gratin de pomme de terre. The staff members were welcoming. They cater for each and everyone's requirements.
