Very good hotel. Nice food, nice service. The location is a bit isolated but facilities good.

Hotel is very nice. Lots of activities (e.g., tennis, gym, pilates, yoga). Service and food could be better. Breakfast and Dinner are served as buffet. Dinner can also be in one of their separate restaurants which offer a la carte menu. Restaurants needs separate reservation and we needed to wait two days to get a spot. Buffet food is not the best if I need to judge but it’s something subjective. Service level is good but not great. Something we also experienced in another hotel on the island. Hotel has created their own beach which is a kind of bay. So if you are looking for a perfect sand beach, just be aware.

This is the happiest and most comfortable hotel we have ever stayed at. Every staff member is very friendly. We complained on the first day that the hotel rooms were not as big as described. After Ctrip's coordination, the hotel upgraded us to the best room the next day. The food in the hotel is very delicious. The breakfast is a bit monotonous but the dinner is very rich and changes every day. There are 4 restaurants that basically have delicacies from all over the world. There are various song and dance performances, piano performances, etc. every night in the restaurant. The wonderful arrangements of various activities on New Year's Eve are even more unforgettable! The hotel has many activities every day, our favorites are archery, tennis, snorkeling, etc., all free of charge. There are 4 swimming pools for you to choose from. There is no need to worry about finding a chair. As long as you lie on the beach chair at the swimming pool, you will have a cold and delicious drink delivered to your hand. We stayed in the hotel for a week and felt at home every day. We would have stayed there if it hadn't been fully booked and couldn't book a room. Thank you to all the staff for your warm company, and thank you Ctrip!

I wanted to adore this place but fell quite short. Came here end of April/ start of May for a 30th Birthday. Have travelled a lot and worked in high end hospitality, so was looking forward to 10 days of doing absolutely nothing! Being vegan I especially picked this hotel having stated it is very vegan friendly and had a vegan tasting menu from Alexis Gauthier having been to his restaurant in Soho. But everything was abit too much effort for a holiday. We arrived to a beautiful place, must admit the hotel was abit smaller than anticipated but absolutely lovely. We were shown to our room after a brief check in, overview of the hotel and discussion of dietary requirements (also having emailed the hotel beforehand.) No one at check in mentioned that all the information for the hotel was on a QR code so for the rest of the evening till the next day we were in abit of limbo not having a map of the hotel, what was going on etc! My mum even tried to contact the hotel via email and WhatsApp to try and do something nice for me for my birthday in a few days but they never replied to either messages. The room was lovely but with a few issues, there had obviously been at leak in the ceiling at some stage with brown water marks, the toilet wasn’t attached to the back of the wall and really wobbled there was dirt and hair behind the back of the bath and had to ask three times for some extra hangers when we arrived. The communication between staff was a little off, sat down to dinner on the first night was told the bread was vegan (It didn’t look it) the next day was told the same bread wasn’t vegan. At lunch they brought us octopus dip which we had to ask for them to take away and throughout the course of the holiday was served salmon, cheese etc. Having voiced some concern after the first few days we spoke to the food and beverage manager who was very apologetic and they did up their game. The food I was served in the main buffet having spoken with one of the head chefs was absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was also abit limited but lovely vegan pastry, fruit and on our last morning they did have some vegan yogurt which was delicious. The rum tasting was a highlight of the holiday and great fun. We also enjoyed going to the gym and playing tennis in the evenings when cool enough! Did try to book yoga for the afternoon class which was on the activity sheet for that day but apparently it wasn’t happening, which was rather disappointing. The staff definitely make this place and a special mention to Shubham, Pritish, Dev, Yan and Ayvind (whos aqua gym was brilliant). They really went above and beyond to make our stay special after having a few hiccups at the start.

Incredible hotel, absolutely stunning setting. All staff are so lovely and kind and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. Isea at the front desk was so welcoming and showed us around, and was so kind and helpful when we wanted to book extra you and me moments. Yodesh and Sanjeet to name but a few were such lovely waiters and made an amazing baileys hot chocolate. Yodesh had excellent rum recommendations that my husband loved and always greeted us with our names which was a lovely personal touch. The rooms were spotless, primela and the team took very good care of us. Veeren one of the gardeners, did amazing flower displays everyday which were just beautiful. Overall we had an amazing honeymoon, the food was to die for absolutely spectacular for all meals, and there was a very wide selection of drinks available which were brought to you wherever you were on the beach; by the pool etc. Highly reccomend this hotel for all but also especially for honeymooners! Thanks you all again, Mr and Mrs White

This beautiful small Boutique Resort close to Grand Baie is really a gem. It is big enough that it does not feel crowded. You can find a spot where you feel alone and sip on your cocktail. Sundowners are special and there is often live music. The food is outstanding.
