The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius.
The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner.
The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs.
The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊.
Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests.

It seems that there are no Chinese reviews yet, so I will give a truthful review. I stayed in three hotels in Mauritius this time, Oberoi, Four Seasons, and JW Marriott. The prices were similar, but Oberoi was the most disappointing and the worst. The parent-child facilities were non-existent, the children's playground was dirty and messy, and the hotel closed at 4pm. There were no parent-child activities, and the rooms did not even provide children's bathrobes. Later, I moved to Four Seasons and JW Marriott, where the parent-child activities in the children's playground were from morning to night, which was really touching. If you take your children to Mauritius, you must avoid Oberoi.

Arrived here at 5 am after an 8 hr delayed flight. Met with a very warm welcome and taken directly to our beautiful room overlooking the ocean. A wonderful breakfast laid out. After dawn the views were magnificent and the rest of the week we had a little bit of heaven. Quiet peaceful with delightful staff. Shout out to Aisha in the spa, great facial.

'Red Carpet' treatment. Met by the General Manager (Aditya Vikram Pandey) and Amanda (Guest relations Manager). Food, service and entertainment, was excellent. The team that serviced Room 504, were amazing, Can Recommend Karim's cooking demonstration excellent, and visit to local Hindu Temple. Chef prepared us a curry we liked. . Grounds and maintenance staff always had a smile even in the heat! Visit Raj's veg patch.

The Oberoi is claiming to be the best hotel on Mauritius. And the simple truth is: they are. Since in general I like some change, I did divide my holiday in between Lux Le Morne, Paradise Cove and the Oberoi. Even though the other two are nice hotels, the Oberoi is playing in its own league. Excellent guest orientation, wonderful food, very easy accessibility of all activities (no need to put your days into a corset by booking a snorkelling tour two days in advance like at other places - instead they have three a day and you just show up for it). The overall design of the hotel, the gardens the units - it’s all done very tastefully. Some months ago, I said the Capella in Bangkok is one of world’s best. Being in general quite picky I am astonished that already now I have to say the same thing again: Oberoi Mauritius for sure is one of world’s best. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful setting, superb facilities, brilliant friendly and efficient staff, from the fantastic Asst Manager , Natacha, the catering and bar staff, the housekeeping service, Vasudha was a stand out, the gardeners and the maintenance of the 22 acres of tropical gardens and the hotel chauffeurs, brothers, the older Raj having been a part of the one big family committed to the highest service levels for 23 years!

Beautiful mature, well maintained resort. Immaculate service, especially housekeeping (Vasudha, Nilesh and Vikram especially). Had a fantastic time! Thank you so much. The only little downside: swimming in the sea is not that nice. The pool though is beautiful

We had a wonderful stay here. Starting from the greeting by Raj at the airport, smooth check in, lip smacking food, amazing room to lovely property all around. Pritam made our stay comfortable by coordinating all our arrangements for activities till we were safely back at the airport. Thank you for making our holiday so peaceful and relaxing.
