I originally booked a sea view room but was actually given a bay view room without any explanation. The room type was different from the picture. The Deer Island Beach was OK, but there were no activities. It was not as good as the Shangri-La and LUX on the east coast.

We are currently staying at Anahita resort and it is one of our best experience. Upon arrival we were checked we received a warm welcome and met the Front Office Manager Anish who was very friendly and professional. He had a tour of the resort with Yajna, who is very dedicated and did a courtesy call to asked how we are doing and if we were well settled. For Lunch we met with Karishma, she is a gem, very friendly and approachable and professional as well and the service was wondeful. So far everything is going so smooth and relaxing. We will surely come back Mrs Nursingen and Mr Narayen 4011

What an amazing hotel! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are a bit far from the reception and restaurants, but they provide gold carts around the hotel. The food was super delicious especially the noodles. They have free shuttle to the island which is worth it. I highly recommend this hotel

Reception area too small. Welcome could have been warmer. Suite for 6 persons quite comfortable. Exterior and decor can be improved. Food average, limited choice for vegetarians and waiting period for meals quite lengthy. Very few staff are welcoming and pay attention to detail, noticeable difference in attitude towards local people and tourists. Overall, below expectations.

Top notch experience Hospitality - 9/10 Food - 9/10 (Beef carpaccio was amazing. Do try it!). The thon mi cuit was fav!!! Activities - 8/10 Special thanks to Mr. Ashvin who was amazingly humble and to Mr. Gerald, the one and only skipper of Anahita However, a negative point for me was the lack of entertainment during dinner. Overall experience was great - 8.5/10
