Had 2 nights and 1 day stay in the hotel Club Med La Plantation D 'Albion My reviews are the following: 1. The welcoming in the hotel was good and they asked us to scan the QR Code to download the app to know the activities to which we did. 2. We got our rooms it were no smoking rooms to which it was supposed to be a garden view, it was not really a garden view its rather big rocks everywhere and not well entertain "rock garden". 3. Inside the rooms, they were clean, issue with the bathroom door - jammed door, to our disappointment our mobile chargers adaptors are 3 pin adaptors and where corner of the room they are 2 pin adaptors. We went to the reception to request for the plug adaptors so that we can charge our mobile. Arriving to the reception, they told us plug adaptors are available in the boutique. We went to the boutique, the lady told us that the adaptors are for sale Rs 200 each, we did not buy it we need 4 adaptors as we will not use it again after our stay in the hotel. We went back to the reception, explaining that we would not buy the adaptors as it will be of no use after the stay in the hotel if we could have 4 adapters and we will return back after our stay. They told us they don't lend adapters and they suggested to us to put our mobile phones charged on the reception to which it was not agreeable. A lady told us to wait let her asked her speak to her supervisor. we wait around 15-20 mins, the lady told us that she can lend us 1 adaptor against a deposit of Rs 1000 and we need 4 adaption it is 4 x Rs1000 = Rs 4000 and the lady asked how will I do the payment Cash or Card. I told them the lady in the boutique told the adaptors are Rs 200 why charging Rs1000 for 1 adaptor, she called the boutique, she told me that the lady in the boutique said she misunderstood about the price of the adaptor. The hotel needed to refund us an amount of Rs 5817 due to rate change, I asked them to deduct the loan on the amount that need to be refund to which it was not agreeable to them, to which I spoke with the supervisor to which she agreed. We lost so much time at the reception for adaptors which can solve easily in 2 mins. 4. From reception / restaurant to our rooms there is a long way to walk. there are so many buggy stand by mode with no driver. We walked half way till the Navette Stop, Buggy either its full they will not stop or if it is empty they will not stop saying it is for villa only even they are going same way to our rooms direction they will not stop and drop us to our rooms. So we need to walk to the long way to our room rather to wait for another 20 - 30 mins for another "if by chance of an empty buggy". 5. Restaurant - Friday lunch I would rather rate it 7 out of 10 and Friday (Gala) dinner 8 out of 10. Saturday breakfast 6 out of 10, Saturday Lunch / Dinner 5 out of 10 as they repeat mostly the same lunch / dinner as Friday. Sunday breakfast 6 out of 10 and Sunday lunch 5 out of 10.
