Radisson Blu la Poste Lafayette Resort Amp; Spa

We arrived here Thu 30th May 2024. Weather started bad but today has been sunny (anti-cyclone happening atm). Food tasty and the bounty dessert is a must. Avinash at the Aqua bar/restaurant is awesome. Need more of him. Couple of trips booked and will update when we have done these

We did a couples massage with Indian head massage and facial. It was one of the best massages we've had. The pressure was just right. Skin feels glorious, head massage was amazing and so relaxing. Service was excellent! I would definitely recommend this.

Staff are generally incredible, some grumpy so I chatted to everyone, smiled lots and thanked everyone constantly. Very beautiful people. I slept 12 hrs every night. AI dinner and lunch gets a bit repetitive so I went to the beach bar every second day for variety. The sea was amazing. I snorkelled every day multiple times. Factor 50 and full body rash guard. Wi-fi on the beach so I took my phone & MacBook. Very safe and I sat on a huge bean bag under the trees. Towels out before breakfast and I was very happy. Long travel but worth it!

Where to start....what an AMAZING hotel. Diane, wow! Thank you so much. We stayed at this Hotel from 3rd May 2024 for 2 weeks. We cannot recommend it enough. Our experience started with Diane, the manager, and let me tell you, this lady leads by example. She made our holiday the best of the best. Diane's friendliness and kindness, professionalism and sense of humour filters down to every single member of staff. It is almost impossible to single out individuals who stood out, but a few special thanks to Vimla, our cleaner, Avenash and a huge shout out to Descent (may be incorrect spelling) who gave impeccable service and made us feel like royalty. About the resort..... the rooms were fantastic, spotlessly clean and spacious. The restaurant service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. The swimming pool was lush, there were always sunbeds available around the pool or on the beach and we had our own swimming area in the sea where the snorkelling was out of this world. The staff go out of their way to please and make your holiday special. Unlike other destinations tips, although appreciated, were not required for better service. A little bit about Mauritius and the people.... Mauritius is a tropical island, so when holidaying here please remember it will not be 40 degrees and blinding sunshine from sun up to sun down. It is very green and so it can rain in short bursts however, even when it is overcast and windy, you will still come back with a glorious tan! And the Mauritian people..... WOW. At no pont did we feel unsafe on the island. With every person we met, from taxi driver to people on the street, every one was unbelievably friendly. Quoting a few of them, "Mauritius is your holiday of a lifetime and we will make it so from start to finish". Thank you Mauritius.....

The whole staff was very welcoming. Had a perfect time with the family. Specially Fabrice, Diane and Rahul were there to offer help and every requests made to them were attended on point. Diane and Rahul were very helpful at the reception and we were provided with all of the necessary information required. Would definitely recommend them for the next trip.

A great place for a holiday. Beautiful small hotel with amazing staff. Very nice place and quiet. The ocean right next to the hotel. Super pool. Great a la carte dinner. Live music almost every night. And there are no children.👍 I Love this place

We stayed in this hotel from the 17th April to the 26th April, after a long trip taking 19 hours we were welcomed by Diana who was amazing , she had planned in advance a birthday meal for my wife and also a surprise of some flowers on our 30th wedding anv all without my wife finding out. She worked very hard to ensure we were happy with our stay, checking in with us thru our stay at the hotel. The room number 10001 was situated next to the bar area and room opened out to the garden and onto the beach , less than 30ft so great. However couple of things you need to be aware of , the entertainment is quite loud if your in this room but thankfully any entertainment finishes at 10.30pm , the room is a little on the small side with not a lot of of hanging space for your clothing for 10 days, that being said the rooms were cleaned every day and towels and bed linen. All of the staff were great, all willing to go the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. WIFI is a little patchy and the TV channels were off more than on , if you were looking for something to watch on the TV there is not a lot of choice. I would recommend this hotel to stay at for a special occasion as it was for us, however due to the traveling time for us I doubt we will be visiting Mauritius again anytime soon FYI I am 64 and my wife is 58 and it took us 2 days to get over the travelling but happy we chose Mauritius and the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette as our hotel, well done to all of the team and thank you for all of of the memories.

An excellent resort for adults only. The staff could not do enough the to make our stay enjoyable. Plenty of sun beds both by the pool and on the beach. We had an ocean view room which was excellent. The restaurant is a buffet for all meals, but there is an a la carte restaurant with limited availability. There are plenty of taxis available for day trips at very reasonable prices. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Barry and Pam Morris
