We had a wonderful time in Mauritius, with no major issues. Rooms are spacious, cleaning is done every day. Mattresses are on the soft side, I prefer a firm mattress. Any complaints are handled immediately. Buffet is good, but can have larger daily differences. The insects, especially the flies and midgets that get into the yogurts, jams, omelet mixtures etc. in the mornings are a bit concerning. More gluten free options during lunch as well as dinner would be appreciated. The grilled fish, offered daily, is especially good! All the staff and waiters are friendly and helpful. Excellent beer at the red bar !

Excellent service, the waiter checked on us the entire time, was very friendly and gave us tips on what to do, which drinks to get and the food that was worth checking out. The atmosphere was absolutely relaxed and you know that you would be serviced without any hassle. Bhavish was our waiter, a gentleman and a master at his craft. His recommendations were spot on, and we have the time of our lives. 100% would suggest following Bhavish’s recommendations.

What a wonderful experience for our honeymoon in the most idyllic location.highly relaxing , beautiful scenery and stunning accommodation . Terrible ground floor room, so called “garden villa”. Ants everywhere, hole in the door frame which allowed geckos into the room and then my son couldn’t sleep. I informed them of the problem and the only suggestion was to spray the room with insect spray whilst we were in the room. Ridiculous. Bathroom old and mouldy. Pictures attached. More like a 2 star hotel in my opinion. Would definitely not recommend or go back.

Amazing family holiday! This resort will not disappoint! The service, food and activities are excellent! Very well managed and attention to detail. The kids are never bored with activities most of the day! Best activity was the snorkelling, absolutely brilliant sea life to be seen.

If you are looking for a hotel which offers just about everything you need in terms of food choice, activities and entertainment this is a great choice. My husband and I visited in March and stayed in a deluxe newly refurbished room. All the rooms will be refurbished by July I understand. The gym is full of techno-gym equipment which is a home-from-home experience for regular gym goers. The fitness programme has a range of activities too and all the instructors are excellent. Aqua gym for an hour at 11am was my favourite. Note we also travelled in low season which was great for us. As a large hotel in the peak season it will probably feel busy. In low season all the staff have time for you and are very welcoming. The entertainment was nightly and covered a range of shows and bands. The A La Carte restaurants mane you can blend the dinner choices throughout your stay easily. We were and recommend all- inclusive. Beach shoes are a must for that lovely stroll along the shoreline.

Beachcomber victoria Excellent service Excellent food... We came like a stranger and treated like family. Room service great very clean and tidy. Large variety of drinks and food. Buffet very large variety. Swimming pool clean and safe.

We've just returned from the most amazing 12 days at Victoria Beachcomber and can't recommend the resort enough. The resort itself is beautifully kept with the most stunning gardens - it's so clean. We loved the wildlife there and in particular the beautiful birds. There is a very large beach and we enjoyed the watersports which you book close to the entrance of Le Superbe buffet restaurant every morning - we always got a place on whatever we wanted. However the real stars are the incredible staff. I wish I could remember names, there were so many - Deepak at Aqua aerobics in the main pool was brilliant - as well as all the housekeeping staff like Heerah. The restaurant manager Shan (sorry if I've misspelled this) is absolutely amazing, making me coffee and croissant when the restaurant was shut, because we'd arrived late. It's also one of the safest feeling resorts I've ever been to. We loved the tennis courts and Morris Beef restaurant. We don't often return to the same place but will make an exception as it was just the loveliest. Ideal I would say for young families as the large pool is quite shallow in parts.
