A delightful chateau in the heart of Maulevrier. The larger rooms look out over the Oriental gardens which are a pleasant visit. You can also visit the hotels kitchen garden. The hotel is not super deluxe but it is very comfortable. The dinner was excellent value fine food at bistro prices in quite grand surroundings. Breakfast is served in a separate room from the restaurant and is adequate. Helpful staff and all in all excellent value

We stayed in a Chateau again ! Lovely hotel, our second stay, this time we stayed in a 'charming room' with fabulous views over the garden and countryside, great service, both at the front desk, and at breakfast. would love to return in the future

Un château magnifique ,un potager exceptionnel . Nous avons réservé 2 chambres Une au premier étage côté jardin rien à dire parfait malgré la canicule Une au deuxième étage côté parking et fontaine literie moyenne . Après échange avec la réception notre deuxième nuit toujours au deuxième étage mais côté jardin parfait, vous pouvez dormir fenêtre ouverte Une réception à l’écoute qui nous a changé de chambre sans problème Encore merci En conclusion le côté jardin et le plus agréable même si le côté cours a aussi son charme

Nous avons passé un moment très agréable à la table du château Colbert. Les plats sont raffinés et élégants, carte des vins variée, le service de qualité. Le personnel est très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse. Point positif le potager du château est ouvert pour une balade digestive après le repas.

Le temps d'un week-end avec des amis nous avons découvert ce bel établissement. Les chambres à thème avec vue sur le parc sont belles et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le restaurant pour le dîner Les prix sont tout à fait corrects par rapport aux prestations Mention a l'ensemble du personnel sympathique et pro Je recommande !

Quel plaisir de passer une nuit dans cet endroit unique : la nuit était un peu chaude, sous les toits, nous avons ouvert la fenêtre, et nous avons profité des coassements des grenouilles, du chant du coq (la poule "de luxe" ?) au petit matin... Aucun bruit de moteur dans cette nuit de juin, nous avons bien dormi, au calme, dans un lit confortable et dans une chambre très propre. La salle de bain est spacieuse et le linge de toilette de très bonne qualité ! Seul bémol dans cette belle expérience : nous aurions apprécié du thé bio au petit déjeuner ainsi que plus de produits adaptés aux végétariens (et bios, notre région en propose d'excellents) mais les pruneaux au vin étaient délicieux !
