Lovely accommodation with a lovely owner and friendly team. Had a great 5 night stay (family of 4). The place is very clean, well maintained and set in lovely tropical gardens . The staff were always helpful, dropping us at the dive shop and with advice/arranging transport and recommending restaurants. Great places to stay. Hope to return one day Thank you

We loved this place! Long before we arrived, Bev, the owner, answered our questions and was proactive in reaching out to us about the storm that hit the country further in the north, and making sure that we had all travel documents and tourist invitation to make the border crossing easier. She even offered to fetch us at the frontiere if we needed. We drove though to the resort on the new tarmacked road, and the signage to the resort is easy, beginning at the photo op 'Ponta' sign. We had a deluxe cabana, suitable for the four of us. We adored our surroundings, the cabana, the staff and certainly the food! Everything about this place was wonderful, and, we will be back, the next time for weeks instead of the four days we were here. Thank you Chico for your personal tour around the resort. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Gala Gala is a very cozy place, ideal for those who want to feel at home with that touch of nature all around and enjoy deep sleep in a calm and safe location.

What an incredible place, set in lush vegetation and a 400m walk to a magnificent beach ! The best thing by far is the personal attention given by all the staff at Gala Gala. Organising dolphin trips, scuba diving and even having a little shopping corner with local products ! Tonight we ate in and the food is insane ! Crab curry, chicken and fresh fish ! Wow - better than any 5* restaurant we have been too

We ended up at Gala Gala unexpectedly at nighttime. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. What an amazing, peaceful and friendly place! The staff and owners were just incredibly kind and helpful (made sure our rooms were ready even though we came super last minute, helped us fix something on our car that caused it to not start, always in for a chat). The rooms were clean and beds equipped with good mosquito nets. The lounge area was awesomely decorated and comfy. Had a great breakfast in the morning and they have lovely cappuccinos! As I live in Maputo, I’ll definitely be back and will recommend to future visitors as well. Big bonus: there were lots of furry friends around (we even got personally escorted by one of the dogs on our walk from the restaurant a bit down the road back to the hotel).

We really enjoyed staying here. Have been to Mozambique many times for work and family connections, and am from the UK, and this the first time specifically in Ponta. Selected Gala Gala as will always give priority to enterprises that try to be environmentally conscious. Gala Gala staff were also easy to communicate with in advance arranging lifts, positive about what they were doing, and really look after their guests, and animals. If you prefer very sterile, unimaginative and polluting types of places devoid of plants and domestic animals then this place is certainly not for you. Highly recommend it. Thanks Gala Gala.
