There is no direct bus from interlaken west station to the hotel. The navigation says 1.2 km. I feel that 2 km is definitely there! Pull the suitcase from the train station to the end of the road and climb the hillside and climb a long way to the hotel! But when I was soaking my own black tea on the small balcony, listening to the birds twirling, looking up and seeing the setting sun, covering the Jinshan, I feel worth it! Received the city tax seems to be 3.6CHF? There is a large platform to dry clothes ~ there is a bar and dinner, but my companion old lady is reluctant, so no experience ~ I booked a public bathroom room with a sink in the room. Looking at the snowy mountain to eat a sunny breakfast feels good! The hotel has a bus card (we didn't use it), and there is a bus from the interlaken OST train station to the hotel! But the number of flights is relatively small!

This is not a chain of youth travel, so many people live because the room is without windows. It can only be driven by a large fan floor. It is very common. There is no way for the Interlaken Youth Hostel to be booked. But this hotel is the limit of two skydiving companies. The sport can be picked up here. Unfortunately, I didn’t book the Interlaken Youth Hostel. It’s the closest to Interlaken’s East Station. The only trip to the train station in my only trip is that I can’t book just one night. Transfer bus can go to the hotel

Das Gartenzimmer war eigentlich gut. Die Begrüssung des Inhabers besserwisserisch und eher kein warmes Willkommen. Die Frühstückszeiten sind zwischen 7.30 und 9.30, was absolut ein zu kleines Zeitfenster ist. Wir wollten früher los und baten am Abend vorher um ein Frühstückspaket. Die Antwort war: Das zahlt mir niemand, jemanden früher aufzubieten... Kleiner Tipp am Rande von Gästen, die das Frühstück bezahlt haben: Man kann sehr wohl eine Alternative bieten. Ein Angebot in Form von Zwieback und dem von ihm ohnehin abgepackten Käse, dann vielleicht einen Orangensaft und das Problem wäre gelöst. Auch könnte man vielleicht einen kleinen Zustupf (z.B. Fr. 10 für einen externen Kaffee) anbieten. Das alles könnte man, wenn man ein klein wenig gastfreundlich sein möchte. Einmal und sicher kein zweites Mal in diesem Hotel.

For those who don't often stay at hostels, it's normal to be worried what your experience will be sharing a room with strangers. But from the moment you walk into this establishment, you are in great hands. You'll get excellent customer service and be located in an amazing property. The bathrooms/showers were so clean. The outdoor space gives you some isolation to admire the views or do some work. The kitchen area was my favorite - it's so spacious so I highly recommend stocking up on food from the local supermarket. The rooms were comfortable and the guests were respectful of my sleeping schedule. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better experience and for a great price. I paid 3 times more for a smaller room in Lauterbrunnen for what I paid here. I'll definitely be coming back to Backpackers Villa.

Interlaken is a beautiful, quaint little town and the Stella hotel is in a great location close to the Interlaken West train station and near the landing field for paragliding, both of which were great for us. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains! The breakfast was so good with fresh croissants and fruit and a self serve omelette station and espresso machine as well as bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. The breakfast room is lovely and Jean, the food manager on most days we were there, is a gem. So attentive and sweet. Astrid at the front desk was helpful too. My husband used the small workout area and pool which has glass all around with a lovely view. Our main disappointments were with our room. Though spacious, it was very dated with exposed metal rods supporting shelving and random furniture and an old lamp in the seating area…Not like the website photos. The biggest functional issue is there is no AC. Because it was unseasonably warm for October, we had to leave the glass doors open and could hear all the street noise early in the morning when we were trying to sleep. We requested a fan for white noise (thank you, Astrid) and that helped some. I can’t imagine staying there when it’s warmer. With that said, we were not in our room except to sleep so we still enjoyed all the positives of the food, location and helpful staff.

There is no way for the Interlaken Youth Hostel to be booked. But this hotel is the limit of two skydiving companies. The sport can be picked up here. Unfortunately, I didn’t book the Interlaken Youth Hostel. It’s the closest to Interlaken’s East Station. The only trip to the train station in my only trip is that I can’t book just one night. Das Gartenzimmer war eigentlich gut. Die Begrüssung des Inhabers besserwisserisch und eher kein warmes Willkommen. Die Frühstückszeiten sind zwischen 7.30 und 9.30, was absolut ein zu kleines Zeitfenster ist. Wir wollten früher los und baten am Abend vorher um ein Frühstückspaket. Die Antwort war: Das zahlt mir niemand, jemanden früher aufzubieten... Kleiner Tipp am Rande von Gästen, die das Frühstück bezahlt haben: Man kann sehr wohl eine Alternative bieten. Ein Angebot in Form von Zwieback und dem von ihm ohnehin abgepackten Käse, dann vielleicht einen Orangensaft und das Problem wäre gelöst. Auch könnte man vielleicht einen kleinen Zustupf (z.B. Fr. 10 für einen externen Kaffee) anbieten. Das alles könnte man, wenn man ein klein wenig gastfreundlich sein möchte. Einmal und sicher kein zweites Mal in diesem Hotel.

For those who don't often stay at hostels, it's normal to be worried what your experience will be sharing a room with strangers. But from the moment you walk into this establishment, you are in great hands. You'll get excellent customer service and be located in an amazing property. The bathrooms/showers were so clean. The outdoor space gives you some isolation to admire the views or do some work. The kitchen area was my favorite - it's so spacious so I highly recommend stocking up on food from the local supermarket. The rooms were comfortable and the guests were respectful of my sleeping schedule. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better experience and for a great price. I paid 3 times more for a smaller room in Lauterbrunnen for what I paid here. I'll definitely be coming back to Backpackers Villa.

Looking at the snowy mountain to eat a sunny breakfast feels good! The hotel has a bus card (we didn't use it), and there is a bus from the interlaken OST train station to the hotel! But the number of flights is relatively small!
