일본의 고급 식사를 가이세키를 맛보러 갈 곳. 숙박내내 가이세키에 감사했고 온천도 청결해서 좋았음. 룸 컨디션은 가격에 따라 다르겠지만 전체적으로 오래된 시설인거 같았지만 전통 일본 숙소의 정말 깔끔한 모범 숙소 느낌임. 도고온센역과도 적당히 시끄럽지 않음 거리의 위치.

夫婦で温泉宿を楽しんでおります。施設はいたって普通、楽しみにしていた大浴場も温泉感を感じることがなく食事も普通でした。日本三古泉という事で期待していた景観もよくなかったです。スタッフさんの対応は良かったかなぁ。観光名所の道後温泉本館も改築中で浴場も古い銭湯、周辺の商店街も温泉情緒を感じることが出来ずに残念でした。

車を駐車場まで運んでいただけるサービスは久しぶりで感動しました。 朝ごはんは和食で、ご飯のあてが全て美味しくご飯をお代わりするほど！特に貝の味噌汁が美味しく感動しました。 部屋に簡易のマッサージ器がありましたが、リクライニング出来ず使いにくく必要ないかも・・・ 大浴場の入り口にある4台のマッサージ器はとても最高！それも無料。 お風呂に行く度に使わせて頂きました。 サウナの水風呂が狭くて入りにくかったです。 高齢者の方だと危ないかも？ 露天風呂がホテルの大きさに比べると、もう少し大きくても良かったのかな？と思います。

大きな旅館で料金もリーズナブルですので、カスタマイズではなく標準仕様を楽しめるかどうかだと思います。 例えば、夕食をサーブしてくれたのはおそらく学生アルバイトの青年でしたが爽やかな感じがよかったですし、食事も一度に大量に作らなければならないという制約のなかでの工夫が見られます。 部屋の清掃は、チェックイン時に9時半頃から開始すると聞いていましたが、それより早く大々的に始まりました。多くのスタッフが一度に清掃に入る様子は圧巻でした。 以上の通り、いくつかの口コミにある通り、完璧なホスピタリティは用意されていませんが、大型テーマパークのように、個々のスタッフはマニュアルをベースに色々な努力をされている印象を受けました。総合的には十分に楽しめる旅館です。

不意打ちを喰らってしまったと感じた。創造を超えた素晴らしい旅館だった。また行きたい。比較的新しくて随所に凝った作りがある建物は居るだけで楽しかった。建物のなかにある部屋は純和風にして近代的。実に居心地がよかった。 部屋食がおすすめだ。和服姿の仲居さんが、頑張っている。若い方なのに、よくやっていると感心した。他のホテルスタッフの方も皆さん素晴らしかった。料理もおいしかったし、大満足。

マンモスホテルが大嫌いな体質なのですが、ここは大人数収容とは思えないほど他の人の気配があまりなく、個室での食事の際もほぼ人と出会いませんでした。特筆すべきはこだわりの茶室です。コンクリートの建物の中とは思えないほどのクオリティの高さ、聞けば京都から職人さんが長期間泊まり込みで作ったとのことで納得。 館内、室内は小原流のいけこみがところどころにされており、高級旅館の風格を醸し出していました。とはいえある程度経年しているのでぴかぴかではありませんが、の従業員の方々のホスピタリティを髄所に感じることができました。 大規模だから手が回らない、という印象を変えてくれた旅館でした。また再訪します。
