I was grateful to be able to stay cheaply near the station.
The room had been renovated, so the wallpaper, curtains, and bed were clean, and the windows were double-glazed, so I was very comfortable.
The toilet had a washlet and a refrigerator, and hangers and toothbrushes were provided in abundance.
It was stated that I would be wearing pajamas, not yukata, so I didn't bring anything special, but it was a one-piece with buttons in the front, so I should have brought pants to wear underneath.
There was a folding (simple) mirror on the bathroom sink and TV stand. If multiple people are getting ready at the same time, I think it's a good idea to bring a large one that can stand on its own.
The key is not a card type but a "key", but it is an auto-lock. I was told that I was responsible for my own belongings until I checked out, so I was free to go out and eat at my leisure.
Free drinks (tea and coffee) were provided around the front desk. There are also vending machines.
