道後温泉駅や子規博物館から徒歩５分、絶好のロケーションにある宿泊施設。この「にぎたつ会館」は厳密に言えばホテルではなく、学校共済の研修・宿泊施設で、結婚式会場としての貸出しなどで運営している様子。そのため普通の温泉旅館のように夕食は出ないし、朝食も大食堂でのバイキング形式になっている。また、バイキングの内容も、はっきり言ってありきたり。部屋も古くて安いビジネスホテルのようで高揚感はない。ただし、これらの欠点を補って余りあるのが、深夜まで、あるいは早朝から大浴場に入れるということ。お湯は引き湯だが、正真正銘の道後温泉なのは言うまでもない。価格もリーゾナブル。
