Decor could be a bit updated, but other than that, no problems. Standard budget business hotel. When searching for the hotel on google maps, make sure to look for “Business Hotel Taihei Annex” rather than Hotel Taihei as the two are about 100m away.

Not really central but just next to the castle, not much around but you could reach the main areas in around 20/25 minutes by walk or 10 minutes with the tramline.

The price/performance ratio is very good, only over 200.
The place is a bit old, but still hygienic and clean.
We stayed in the annex building, and if we wanted to soak in the hot springs, we had to walk out 100 meters past the annex building.
There are hot springs on the third and tenth floors, and there are also open-air ones, which are good.
However, I think the location is a bit poor. It is a bit far away from the business district and Dogo Onsen.
