"The staff of the hotel was very nice and kind from the very start of the booking process, so informative when I asked about room type and the condition that I was looking for.
I spend time there for 2 days 1 night with 1 room and 2 meals to celebrate my birthday with my sister. The hotel even passed the information to the restaurant staff and they were kind enough to sing the happy birthday song for me and also gave me a birthday gift. The room was cleaned well and has all the amenities you might need. The private bath was very good too."

"Nice Sea view and onsen. Great variety of seafood buffe and breakfast but taste was acceptable. There is hotel shuttle bus service but the last bus was before 6 pm. The JR station has no staff and does not have any escalator or elevator so beware that you need to carry luggage up and down the stairs. It's out of GO service area but there was taxi waiting in front of the station."
"This onsen hotel charges 80,000 yen per night, offering excellent facilities but minimal service. The dinner is a course-grade meal served in an all-you-can-eat style. While some may appreciate this setup, it’s not my preference. However, as a drinker, you’ll find a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from."
"Japanese style corner sea view room. Very attractive. The hotel is clean and hygienic. The room is comfortable. Free parking is provided. Very satisfied. The hot spring provides outdoor bath and foot bath. But no sauna. The dinner is very rich. Desserts are provided on the second floor. Very exquisite. Although a little expensive, it is worth the money."
"Although the hotel is located far from the train station and Songdao Pier, the hotel is very careful and will arrange a free shuttle bus or taxi to pick up the hotel passengers to the train station. The hotel also provides very intimate arrangements for passengers, and there will be happy hours from 4pm to 6pm every day. In addition to the large baths available for guests to soak in the hot springs, guests can also book a private hot spring pool for free.
The dining is also very rich, and there are many types of food. The room is also spacious. Is a recommended hotel."
"Title: A Disappointing Stay at Sendai's 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 in Sendai, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel was not up to par with my expectations.
First and foremost, the location of the hotel was rather lackluster. Situated in Sendai, I had hoped for a scenic and picturesque view of the surrounding area, but instead, I was greeted with a rather uninspiring landscape. The hotel's proximity to attractions and amenities was also quite inconvenient, as it required a fair amount of travel to reach any notable destinations.
The staff at the hotel were far from friendly or accommodating. Their lackadaisical attitude and indifference towards the guests were disappointing, to say the least. Requests for assistance or information were met with apathy, leaving me feeling ignored and unimportant. It is evident that the staff lacked the proper training in customer service and hospitality.
The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The cleanliness standards were questionable, and I encountered several maintenance issues throughout my stay. The lack of attention to detail and upkeep was simply unacceptable.
In terms of dining options, the hotel fell short yet again. The on-site restaurant served mediocre food with limited choices. The quality of the meals was average at best, failing to impress even the most casual of diners. The lack of variety and flavor left me disappointed and longing for better culinary experiences.
Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and devoid of any character or charm. The common areas felt neglected and poorly maintained, further contributing to the overall sense of dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, my experience at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable experience in Sendai."
"If you go to the hotel from the jr platform, you may need to fumble a bit. Everything else is almost perfect. On the hill is really on the hill. The view is perfect, you can watch the sunrise in your room. The rhythm of going to sleep after watching. The breakfast and dinner package is full of Japanese characteristics. Of course, if you don’t know English, there may be a little problem. It depends mainly on luck. Some young ladies are good at English. Some are not so good. Two nights in Matsushima are enough. The rooms are traditional Japanese style. About the size of eleven cushions, the toilet and bathroom are relatively narrow. They will come to help make the bed, but we still insist on trying to make it ourselves. In fact, I slept well for two nights. On the ground floor is a hot spring"
The Palace Matsushima provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Palace Matsushima is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Matsushima. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Takagimachi Station located approximately 1km away and Sendai Airport roughly 38km away. Guests will find Fukuurabashi Bridge, Godaido of Zuiganji Temple and Kanrantei Tea House just a short distance from the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
"A very comfortable Japanese-style hot spring hotel located next to the Huanhai Railway Station. Open the windows and have a panoramic view of the Songdo coast and islands. Watch the sun rise from the sea in the early morning. The service is considerate, the hot springs are convenient to use in the morning and evening, and the Japanese breakfast is nutritious."
