Convenient place today, the bus station just in front of the hotel. The staffs are quite helpful and try to accommodate as much to our requests. Good tracking path to Kamikochi

The location is great, right opposite the bus station. After storing your luggage, you can easily embark on the road to the highlands. The beautiful scenery along the way is very pleasant!
Because there is Taisho Pond behind the hotel, it is super convenient to enjoy the morning mist of Taisho Pond in the morning, and the sky is full of stars at night!
The staff is friendly and the food is pretty good! The bed was a bit old, but it was a pity that I couldn't get a pool view room! The water temperature in the bathhouse is not high enough, so it would be great if cotton swabs and skin care products are provided!

It all depends what you pay. The location of the hotel is good within the park, though it is a ways away from the bridge and Kamikochi bus terminal. The hotel is basic. You feel like you're somewhere in Alaska so it's ok that everything is concrete except you are an hour from Matsumoto. The mattresses are hard and you could use the pillows to defend yourself against any bears or intruders. If you stay during peak season you'll pay over $250 per night for the privilege. It's worth 50.
