Faisal, the owner, and all the staff are so kind and gentle: ask them everything you want and they will satisfy all your needs. The guesthouse is totally new and very, very clean. Rooms are huge and comfortable: everything was working! The wi-fi is working very good and the typical Maldivian cuisine is excellent. The guesthouse is in front of one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life! What can I add? Mathivery is a sort of paradise and Veli Beach Guesthouse is the perfect place where stay. "Stayed in February 2025. Excellent, very clean hotel and excellent breakfasts! Went with the owner of the hotel Rishwan on a combo trip: looked at Mantas, visited an excellent reef for snorkeling and looked at a sunken ship. The owner of the hotel is a very nice and friendly person, helped with all requests! We went for a day to the Gangehi resort, very pleasant impressions, delicious food and good wine. The only thing to keep in mind is that a one-day visit implies soft ai, not all types of drinks are available. It seems to me that for moderate drinkers it is better to take a lunch bag and buy a bottle of wine for $ 30 at the resort and drink it with lunch, and spend the rest of the time snorkeling (there is something to see there). Be sure to go to the port of Mativeri in the evening to look at the sharks in the right wing, especially when they are fed. And special respect to the man who cooks breakfast and cleans! We were fed breakfast with cake at 6am, there was an early check out! Very nice! I hope to return to this island to this hotel!"
