Usha Ascot

Hello Usha Ascot Team, Thanks for your good hospitality and attention. We had a good and comfortable stay at Usha Ascot. We (Self and My Wife) checked in on 8th Nov 2025 for 2 nights. Overall the property is very big , serene and is well maintained. The room allocated to us was 609, had a small balcony and it was with a pool / garden view which was nice. The room upkeep was good .. The front office team / restaurant team / house keeping was very prompt and supportive. We had all our meals in the hotel only as our package included the same. We enjoyed all the meals (only veg ) including hi tea in the evening. Entertainment programs in the evening near pool was refreshing and fun. Bar is also available and market and other sight seeing attractions are walking distance of 10 to 20 minutes . Overall a very good stay and will surely keep coming back to Usha Ascot.

Stayed at executive suite but on entering found run down. As advised by staff, verandah door was not to be opened as monkeys would come. A grill would solve this while allowing guests to enjoy the sit out and cool breeze. Full time the doors to verandah were to be kept closed. They offer all meals plan and meals are mediocre especially breakfast. Presentation is super poor as if we were having food in mass food event. The dining area is a big hall with tables and plastic moulded chairs. The very same hall has some.torn sofas and stacks of plastic chairs, all these in dining area! No dental kit even in suite category room. The nighttime would be a disco like program with loud noise across the entire property. The property is vast with huge trees and great plantation making it a perfect place to enjoy if proper sit outs are made. Lift works on generator but the airconditioners in rooms don't! On inquiring as to why no housekeeping was done, the reply was that I must not have told for it. Does it require to be told for housekeeping in a suite category room? The staff is nice and courteous. However overzealous efforts on cost cutting makes this super property mediocre.

My stay was comfortable, but the property is not maintained well the sheets were not very clean... and the food was average I paid 30k for 2 nights and did not feel it was worth the price paid.

Usha Ascots, property is located 10 minutes from market. property is very good. the rooms was spacious. we booked family room suit. which can accomodate 6 persons. Food was good. and the staff is also cooperative. we enjoyed our stay. will plan such outing more often.......

Rooms need refurbishment . Upon checkin the room and bed sheets very extremely dirty. The hotel held events with groups in common area with loud music which was very disturbing . The food was very average too . Overall i would give this hotel a miss.

My husband and me stayed here in December. It has always been our favourite place in Matheran. Because of the following reasons: 1. tasty food. They even make non spicy on request. 2. comfortable rooms. 3. good service. 4. very entertaining evenings by the pool with live singing of bollywood songs. the singer is very nice. 5. housie by the pool. 6. puppet show and magic show. Overall a very pleasant stay
