We are so glad we chose to stay here. The room was beautiful and one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in, very spacious, comfortable, quiet and with a private balcony with a great view. The location is perfect, with restaurants all around. Breakfast was excellent. We had a great welcome from Cinzia and Nicolas who were friendly and helpful. We hope to return one day as there is so much to see and do in Matera that we wish we’d had longer.

We just stopped here for lunch while walking around Matera! The service was EXCEPTIONAL very kind and patient with my English. We ordered lasagna & bruschetta. FANTASTIC! A great outdoor area for eating and people watching! A lovely stop in this magical lil town. I wasn’t expecting this place to be so good. Even the sandwich the people next to us had looked bomb! Pinning this spot in my maps for friends to try in the future

Just a fabulous place to stay. We stayed in a double with a balcony that had a wonderful view of the Sassi. Just the best hosts, a family owned and run hotel and nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, pasties, bruchetta, coffee etc. There is also a fabulous roof seating area - the views are spectacular. Just a short walk to all the eateries but they also do lunches which are popular. They have a liquor licence so Aperol at sunset on the roof couldn't be beaten!!

Everything about our stay here in Matera was perfect! The property has been recently renovated with incredible artisan work in every detail! Extremely clean with all the amenities you could need. The breakfast is delicious with local specialties (try the pasticiotto!). It is all family-run and they do everything to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooftop terrace offers incredible views of Matera to be enjoyed with a Spritz. We can’t wait to return again one day. Grazie mille!

I Loved the place. It was in very well located in the old Sassy near many restaurants. The room was beautiful with arch ceilings. There are only 5 rooms. Me stayed in in the Vetraio room. Very clean. The hostess Ingrid plus really very kind and helpful. She made very good recommendations. Breakfast is in a nearby coffee shop. Matera was the capital of culture in 2019. There are many places to visit. And many nice restaurants.

Struttura e camera molto bella, ampia, ben arredata e confortevole. La posizione è perfetta, vicina ai migliori ristoranti e la terrazza ha un panorama splendido e suggestivo sul Sasso Caveoso. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile in qualsiasi momento. Grazie!

Tutto perfetto, pulizia, posizione e gentilezza dei gestori della struttura. La junior suite con piccolo balcone molto spaziosa ed accogliente, oltre che ben climatizzata. Letto comodo e bagno sufficientemente spazioso e funzionale. La terrazza sul tetto offre una bellissima vista sui Sassi. Consigliassimo
