Splendid hotel, in the center of Matera, Francesca at the reception was helpful and competent. The room was wonderful with a gorgeous bathroom! I highly recommend it.

+ Very good location, spacious room, modern and comfortable but nevertheless remains very typical of the Sassi (do not expect the room to be very bright). Very pleasant bathroom and rather decent bedding. - The curtains do not allow you to achieve complete blackness. We stayed in room 201 which overlooks the street, which can be a little noisy with the traffic.

Located in the center of Matera but at the same time quiet. Very kind, affable, friendly staff. International breakfast. Mrs. Loredana is friendly and competent, like the rest of the staff.

Central and comfortable, in the center between the two Sassi and in the heart of the pedestrian area, therefore ideal for fully enjoying the city. Clean, well furnished rooms, the staff is attentive and very kind. Absolutely recommended place for those who want to visit the city

I called to ask about the availability of a double room for 2 nights starting that same evening. To the proposal made I replied that I was thinking about it and that I would call back if necessary. We decide on a suite and then call back to confirm the suite reservation. The lady takes the name and telephone number and gives me directions to the parking lot. Once we arrived in Matera we had doubts about the address of the car park so I called the hotel to ask for clarification. They answer and when the lady understands who I am she begins to verbally attack me saying that I had canceled the reservation and therefore they had already given the room away. All this in a rude way, drowning out my voice and without giving me the opportunity to explain that I had not canceled any reservation. He then ends the conversation by throwing the phone down in his face. This uncivilized way of operating is not suitable for a hotelier who does not deserve to work in an important and beautiful city like Matera. And the hotelier in question who doesn't bother replying as I've seen has already done so in a long-winded manner with other reviews. Relax because a mistake can happen to anyone and you shouldn't place the blame on the customer

Super central hotel for seeing the "Sassi". The hotel is conveniently located in the middle (between the two Sassi). Clean, large room with air conditioning and balcony (view of the small piazza). Staff super friendly, nice and accommodating. Recommended!!!
