We had the most beautiful stay here at the Albergo Italia, Matera. Made even more special by Paolo, he went out of his way for us, even securing us restaurant bookings, when the restaurant seemed booked out, nothing was too much trouble for him. Matera was a real bucket list place to visit for us, and the Albergo is so central and has such a great view over the city. Even with the central location, it was so quiet and peaceful there. We would not hesitate in booking there again.

Very comfortable hotel. View out our window is priceless! Staff is excellent. Breakfasts are incredibly varied. Location makes it so very easy to explore this remarkable town. Explore! Food options nearby are stellar. I recommend hiking across the valley!

Ottima struttura in pieno centro paese, ristrutturato di recente . Albergo molto bello con personale gentilissimo e molto preparato. Camera pulitissima , spaziosa e di classe. Ottima la colazione con diverse opzioni dolce e salato, consiglio .

Ho soggiornato con la famiglia e amici in questo storico hotel di Matera. La posizione è centralissima e molto comoda per visitare sia la parte nuova sia quella vecchia della città. Le camere ristrutturate sono arredate con buon gusto e molto pulite; la vista sui sassi è impagabile! Proprietari e personale molto gentili e disponibili. Vivamente consigliato per visitare la splendida Matera!

Bellissimo Hotel, camere e bagno pulite, posizione centrale, comodo per tutto, sia per il parcheggio e per visitare i Sassi, tutto raggiungibile a piedi.Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile e buona la colazione. Niente da segnalare.

Ho avuto modo di frequentare uno stage di Receptionist presso questa storica struttura alberghiera nel cuore del centro storico della città di Matera. Oltre alla professionalità dei proprietari e del mio tutor Paolo (receptionist della struttura) ho potuto conoscere la particolare atmosfera ricca di tradizione e modernità che questa struttura trasmette al turista o semplice visitatore, garantendo la possibilità di poter fare una esperienza unica nella città di Matera potendo visitare tutto il suo centro storico compresi i Sassi non come ospiti ma come cittadini della città ed inquilini di questo storico palazzo semplicemente uscendo dall'ingresso e passeggiando per le vie centrali. Consiglio turisti e visitatori di ogni tipo di poter fare questa esperienza nell'antica e affascinante città di Matera. Siate già i benvenuti nell' ALBERGO ITALIA Francesco Grieco

Hotel comodissimo per visitare la città, bellissima stanza con vista sul sasso caveoso, bagno perfetto. La delusione è stata la prima colazione non all’altezza del resto. Prodotti di bassa qualità, servizio pessimo. Disponendo di ottime materie prime locali non si possono proporre formaggi confezionati e pane in cassetta. Con una piccola spesa in più si può migliorare ed essere all’altezza della struttura.
