The accommodation offers a varied breakfast with local products. The host provides exceptional service and guidance. It is ideally located near the historic center. Guests appreciate the spotlessly clean and spacious rooms.

This is a B&B type hotel located at the top of the town which is approximately a 12-15 minute walk from the centre up a hill. The property is located on a reasonably steep slope so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We booked the Fire (Cave) Room which was located in the old tannery. The only window in the bedroom to the exterior was a small window at the rear of the room near the ceiling. The property has been tastefully renovated and the room was spacious and decorated to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the soft furnishings were high quality. The bathroom was on the smaller side but had nice fittings and good shower with plenty of hot water. The only negative was the door to the adjoining room which wasn’t very soundproof so we could hear noise from the guests staying in that room. The host of the property is extremely helpful and charming. He provides a lot of information about the town and property itself. Breakfast was fairly standard Italian style with a choice of cake, croissants, cereal, yoghurt, coffee and juice. As we had to leave early the owner was kind enough to provide a bag of cereal and milk for us to have breakfast in our room before departing. We chose this property as we were on a cycling tour and there was a courtyard where we were able to store our bikes. Apart from the bikes we also had to arrange for luggage transfers and the property were extremely helpful in assisting us with this. We would definitely recommend staying here.
