I think it probably started as a national lodging house a long time ago. In this day and age, it would be extremely difficult to build a lodging facility on the coast. The location, right in front of the sea, is a selling point! The sound of the waves from the window never stops all night. I don't recommend this place to those who can't sleep because of the sound of the waves. And I don't recommend this place to those who are looking for sophisticated or sophisticated hospitality or a lodging atmosphere. But! This place is recommended for those who have stayed at many high-class inns and hotels and are tired of them. They are expensive and the food is not that great. You can eat a full meal of delicious fish dishes at the inn's restaurant, relax in your room, and have a relaxing bath and breakfast the next morning. If this isn't bliss, then what else can you say? Because it is located very close to the fishing port, the seafood served changes with the seasons. That is also something to look forward to, but my wife and I can't resist the fried flounder, a dish here. It is fried to perfection, and from head to tail, it is like a beginner's dish? But I can eat it as easily as biting into a rice cracker. I moved from Kobe to Shimane Prefecture, where the inn is located, so we've been talking about going there once a month.
