We were running late and the office had officially shut by the time we arrived. However, a very helpful staff member was still there and explained everything to us on arrival. We had a basic cabin with bunks and a queen bed. I never sleep well the first night in a strange bed, but these beds were so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. The only thing I did not like, was the unisex bathrooms. I like the men's and women's facilities to be separate, I'm old-fashioned like that haha. But apart from that, the campground was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay in Masterton.
