An experience of superlatives! The hotel is located in a huge private area, where there are not only beautiful paths, but also many modern sculptures. Just as the hotel itself has a lot of contemporary art. It has so many rooms where you can spend time playing, reading, talking, dreaming and a small but lovely thermal bath. The rooms are also beautiful and offer coffee and tea making facilities, water and a small local specialty to welcome you. Dogs are also catered for, with bowls and baskets provided. The food is excellent and it goes without saying that the location of the restaurant is also very nice. And - last but not least - all the hotel staff try to make your stay as pleasant as possible: Yes I can is the attitute!

Domaine des Etangs is a wonderful place for relaxing, breathing and being immersed in a peaceful countryside yet surrounded with the presence of culture and art everywhere in the domaine. It's a place like no other. Close from Paris in TGV (Angoulême), you eat so well, all the products are cultivated locally and cooked with so much talent. Loved the Spa and the team makes you feel so special. I am looking forward to my next stay !

More than a fairytale! This hotel is more than a castle stay—it exceeded our expectations. We totally enjoyed it. We stayed at the castle’s cottage, where hundreds of cows were outside our room. It was superb! Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive and precise.

We booked the Chateau for a 2 night stay whist returning from holiday in the south of France. Booking over the phone directly with the facility was very easy and the receptionist gave a very good overview of the residence and the facilities. The facilties are fabulous, lovely room, great dining experience and very friendly staff. Overall a really enjoyable stay.
