We had a one night stay on our way south. This place is beautiful, spotless and historic. We had a working fireplace that really heated up the room on a very cold winters night. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Will return!

Rockwood Manor never disappoints. It is beautiful, comfortable but elegant and peaceful. The food was wonderful. But most of all Frank, Rochelle, Chrissy and Mary Beth were perfect hosts. You leave feeling like family. I highly recommend staying at Rockwood. I plan on returning as often as I can.

Rockwood continues to be our favorite B&B in VA. We have always stayed in the Bell Room which is on the 1st floor. It is a large room with lots of windows, a gas fireplace, and easy access to the dining area. There are several hiking trials in the area, the Cascades is our favorite.

Historic Manor refurbished in the colonial style 1870s. Hospitality is an additional treat with historic tour of the Manor included by the Host. Definitely recommend staying at Rockwood Manor to enjoy touring the sites nearby like Virginia Tech University and Radford University.

Lovely well maintained manor house in beautiful rural Virginia. Full of antiques and family heirlooms. Made in more special because the host can tell you stories of the area and house. Nice breakfast. Eventually hot shower. Comfy common rooms. Nice porch. Near to Radford for more dinner options.

We came to Rockwood to meet up with some family that we had not seen in years. We had a total of 4 rooms ( 3 in the house 1 in the barn) and the place just felt like a family home. Friendly Inn keeper, great breakfast, spacious rooms, and well appointed common areas. Nice private location just minutes from the interstate. Over all the experience was very relaxing. Would definitely go back again.

We used Rockwood Manor as a home base for a family reunion. It was a wonderful space to hang out with family in the evening. The house and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is delicious. This is our second time to stay there and both times have been great.

This bed and breakfast is one of the best we have ever visited. Not only were the hosts wonderful people, all of the guests were extremely pleasant to speak with also. We enjoyed strolling around the property and seeing the wildlife. Our room was very nicely decorated and so very comfortable. I’m not sure if Frank or Rochelle was the chef but the breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. We definitely recommend this b&b and will return when in the area.
