I've stayed in numerous places/resorts across Gran canaria over the 11 visits I've had and can honestly say this one was one of the best I've had. Upon check-in was warmly greeted by the gentleman (longish hair, apologies im bad with names) who was very efficient and friendly, explaining everything, we had a quick tour of the room, then off to the chill out bar for a bite to eat as was approx 2230. Chillout retreat was lovely, such a wide variety of chairs, to cater for all. We sat at the table and were warmly greeted by the waiter (bald man once again apologies for names) who took our order and food was prompt, only had pizza and chips to share as was just hungry after the flight. Location - slightly away from everything, but taxi rank outside, and bus stops. Taxis were not expensive and ranged from €4-€9.50, so suited us. Not much within walking distance but first day, get a taxi to mercadona around €6 stock up as we did and our weekly shop, drinks, butter, bread, bagels, cheeses was around €70 Pro's Comfy memory foam matress, as good a matress as ive had abroad. Free safe Free WiFi Not having to reserve sun loungers as we had two at our door. Plentiful of sun loungers at pool, which are all padded and super comfy. Super friendly staff - every single one smiled and said hello. Chillout area - reasonable food, good prices, delivery to room, and even catered for a request for the rugby to be shown one night for us. Cleanliness - whole resort was kept really clean. Cleaning - loved the idea of asking reception when you wanted it cleaned, opposed to standard daily. Shower - always warm good pressure. 24h shop - didn't stock lots but handy when you need a few things at short notice. Pool - lovely, well maintained and ample for resort. Downstairs toilet, so handy when in and out pool Feedback Wee areas could do with a wee touch up, such as sofa was ripped in our apartment, fridge bottom drawer was hanging off upon arrival (215). Pool music was very quiet, and i understand its a peaceful resort but, could do with being slightly louder and on for a longer period. Toaster was a bit rubbish, and a traditional one would be great, as would a oven of some sort, or even a communal cooking zone. The above is only feedback, loved it and will be back in the future. Keep up the good work and staff are a big assest.

So we just stayed for 10 nights over pride and we had a fabulous stay! To keep it really straight to the point: Some minor comments for improvement: 1 - Lighting downstairs could be improved - a lamp would be great as we had to use extractor hood all week 2 - Apartment looking a little tired in places with not much money they could be brought back up to clean and sharp looking. 3 - Grass in chill out is looking scruffy. If this was replaced the area would be more Inviting 4 - 24 hour Shop could be stocked a little better. They lost custom to us sometimes as we went to other local shop for things we could not get. Loads of pro’s for us! 1 - Every single staff member was friendly and lovely. This was so nice and we really appreciated it. Thank you all. Ayu (?!) sorry if not spelt correctly is a credit to hotel! 2 - We loved that it’s very cat friendly and that the staff also look out for the resident cats. More about this below. 3 - Loved having a safe included at no extra cost and it worked well 4 - Food from chill out restaurant was really good! You can order via QR code from your room For food and drinks to be delivered and this was great! 5 - Huge screen in chill out and staff will Play anything they can play for you 6 - Lovely relaxing atmosphere, yes you can play your own ‘quiet’ music without disturbing anyone else but when people played ‘loud’ music it was swiftly and politely dealt with by reception staff. This is not a party resort but you can still have respectable fun and music. 7 - Shower powerful and hot every time 8 - Late check out good fair value. 30 euros until 3pm and 50 euros until 6pm 9 - We requested a sunny pool facing room etc with a couple of room equipment requests and every single ask was met perfectly for arrival. Block 3 facing pool gets the sun alllll day 10 - Downstairs toilet was a bonus 11 - Taxi rank on doorstep - very handy. Also bus stops over the road. Taxi Approx 6/7 Euro into Playa and 4/5 Euro to Meloneras. 12 - Each room has its own sunbeds and there was also plenty around the pool When we arrived a lovely lady next door was looking after the cats in general with some food and water but one cat is elderly Mr Mistoffelees (we believe the reception lady told us he is known as) He is rather thin and matted and old but generally in fair health. He is a beautiful soul and just wanted to be with us for the whole 10 Days. We passed the baton to a newly arrived lady who will continue to feed and look after him and knows him from previous visits. We were unsure if he was a boy or girl, as upon inspection you would think he was female. However Ayu(?!) told us his history. He was On our couch the whole ten days. He may look like he may have mange but he doesn’t and no sign of fleas but the lady next door that handed the baton to us (Hi Michelle?!) said he can’t groom himself well, likely due to arthritis and old age. Please look after him. The reception lady said the vets have checked

A lovey little development. The bungalow was in great condition, clean and with very comfortable beds. A little basic but that was fine and totally comparable with other self catered holiday apartments I’ve been to. One thing we noticed was the lack of ambient lighting in the living area, there were no lamps or dimmer switches meaning that in the evenings the only option was bright bright overhead lights so a lamp would have been nice but obviously a minor detail. All the staff were incredible - very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. What was a nice touch was your apartment was cleaned as much or little as you liked, you just needed to let reception know by 11am on the day in question. Food in the restaurant was very nice, we had a few different things and all were good and fresh. Pool was pristine and plenty of sunbeds. The bungalow we stayed in was 713 which was round the back. Others face the pool and I’m glad ours didn’t as wanted a nice chilled break and that’s what I got. I’d definitely return, it seems that lots of people there had been before and were “regulars” which is always an except sign. Would highly recommend, particularly to solo travellers it was very safe and well staffed.
