Eó Maspalomas Resort

On the surface the place appears okay. A few things to be aware of. 1. If you’re hiring a car, there’s nowhere to park. There’s space on the main road outside which is normally taken up by the locals. 2. The rooms are okay, basic but okay. 3. There’s a constant smell of sewage. 4. This is family orientated. Families with young children so it becomes very loud early in the morning. 5. The housekeeping staff are rude and unhelpful. Don’t expect fresh towels daily and our bedding wasn’t changed in the 10 days we were there. 6. There is never anyone at the reception desk. They have a QR code to communicate with them. 7. The restaurant smells like a damp mop. 8. The pool has many broken tiles which is sharp in places. Also, it has a green rim all around the edges. 9. Sun loungers are uncomfortable and torn/broken. 10. The maintenance men start very early in the morning with an outside floor/tile cleaner, don’t expect to feel rested. We will pay more for somewhere better next time. This was the first time coming here self catering. We will stick to all inclusive where you receive a much better service and environment. As mentioned, this is more suited to young families rather than a couples relaxation holiday.

Stayed or a week here. Location not great a bit of a trek to anywhere so mostly used taxis. Apartments were fine , comfy bed , air conditioning. We did bed and breakfast , breakfast was totally catered for the mostly Spanish people that were there. Very noisy around the pool area . Cockroaches were appearing frequently. Got spray from cleaners . Not in apt 43 but all outside the door. We had 3 apartments and asked could we have 1 apartment late checkout as our flight was not till 6. We were told should not be a problem to ask again on the morning of checkout. No apt available. Nowhere available to even shower before we left. Not very helpful. One of the girls on reception was such a lovely girl , friendly and mostly helpful . Another girl did the bar ( which had very little ). She was also helpful and cheerful. Won't be returning and won't recommend to family or friends but I feel they won't mind that as it's catered for Spanish only . We are Irish middle aged couples.

This is a good place to stay. Good area. Good pool, and heated. apartments and communal areas are spotless. Apartments are spacious and comfortable. The staff at this resort are lovely and helpful. For the price you get a great deal. I will definitely return. Negative No draws to store things and little room in wardrobe for a family. Kitchen is very poorly stocked and no oven. Food is poor quality especially breakfast. However lots of nice places to eat local or cook breakfast in apartment and eat out on the lovely terrace each apartment has.

Exterior, bar and pool weren’t bad, but the rooms, especially the toilets need a lot of work. Haven’t been touched in many years. Peeling paint on many of the walls, covered by curtains to hide it. Staff were friendly, but food options limited and what was on menu, they didn’t have what was ordered. Didn’t spend overly much Time in room, as we were out early most mornings. Needs improvement in many areas.

Beautiful quiet hotel,great location,lovely staff.cannot fault this hotel in anyway, and so clean..cleaners regularly came in..just perfect will return without a doubt ❤️ had a great week, really impressed!

A very busy and interesting resort, well worth a visit to Holiday World and if course the amazing sand dunes, the sand gets very very hot in summer protect your feet. Lovely restaurants near the lighthouse

Don't book bad management Has a lovely large pool but half way through the holiday they banned ball games and inflatable lilos and rings, no diving in or jumping in allowed. Kids not allowed to have fun, the lifeguard needs to lose his whistle watermelon tasted of onion.

We did not stay at the hotel however we did go to the restaurant. We ended up here after a long walk and we got hungry and even though we stayed here for a short period of time the service was great and the fish we ordered was really good! I cannot recommend enough the grilled fish!

Very friendly staff! Niice pool area, with lifeguard. Good food and bar. Quiet and calm area, perfect for a relaxing holdiday. Near supermarket and bus. Great place to stay for family, couples and friends. Would love to come back again. Xxx
