Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa - Adults Only

Back on my third or Fourth visit to Club Maspalomas. This Adult only hotel is great . The staff make it for me , it’s like going home . It’s very clean and a peaceful vide rains through out . Lovely breakfast buffet and a lovely little spa , offering very good treatments . The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Definitely a place to visit .

We are currently at the end of our 7 night stay. Check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink or 2. Our bungalow was fairly close to the pool, in fact all the rooms are close to the pool. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Sun lounger are easy to get at any point during the day around the pool.The pools are heated and the swimming lane is great. The spa pool is lovely and the seating area is great. We used this a lot. The sunset bar is lovely and the quality of the drinks are very high. Attention to detail is really well thought of. All the staff we interacted with during our stay went above and beyond to provide a 5 star treatment. We only ate twice in the restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious and the portions were large. Breakfast was lovely also, with lots of choice. It was never busy and it was lovely to sit outside on a Jan morning watching the sun rise. The coffee machines at Breakfast are extremely slow though. It takes a while to get a cup of coffee even without queuing. On our last morning, I left without a coffee as only 1 machine was working. I did mention this but once 1 other machine was working again other guests had started queuing. I tried on several attempts and gave up. This to me is an issue which needs rectifying. Either faster machines or serve coffee directly to the table. We stayed B&B and ate at lots of good restaurants on Melonaras Boulevard. A couple of favourites were Grand Italia and canton Chinese. We went into Playa del singles one evening to a lovely Greek but other than that we weren't impressed! There is entertainment at the hotel, which we did see on some evenings but it tends to finish at 9pm. We felt that the entertainment was more for half board diners to enjoy whilst dining, which is a lovely idea and some evenings we did come back to watch the shows. Sat eve the entertainment started at 8.30pm which was a much better time and it was a great last night watching Elvis. The transport system is great. A taxi cost 5euros to and from the lighthouse and the buses €1.40pp. The bus stops are either way, just outside of the hotel and we used the Global bus app which was great. We went to Puerto Rico using this. We also used the hotel shuttle bus which is a great idea too. All things considered, I highly recommend this hotel. It has a great vibe and its been such a welcome break during the UK Winter months. We hope to return again next year. Thank you 😊

Where do you start with this fantastic place. You start on arrival with the fabulous staff waiting to greet you with a smile and a glass of fizz. Reception staff that we communicated with were Vesela, Ludvico and Marta. First impressions I find are very important. They were helpful and explained all about the place. Our suite was lovely and comfortable. Housekeeping refreshed the place daily. It was absolutely spotless. Thank you to the ladies and gents whom sadly I didn't get any names for. No need to take towels with you for the pool these are supplied which is great. The whole resort was spotless. Nothing was a problem for any of the staff you were always met with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, so much to choose from. Also there was a gentleman who made your omelette for you as you waited. Dinner was also delicious with so much choice. The fantastic staff I would like to mention are Manager:- Diego Assistant Managers:-  Ricardo – Phillipe – Domingo – Karin Staff:- Stella – Erika – Marjel – Daniella – Jaunfra – Daniel – Sebastian – Sylvanna. These people were only too happy to assist with any queries and as always with a smile. The bar was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Feeling welcome and always greeted with smiles. There was an excellent rapor with the staff. We got to know them quite well and on our last day it was very sad leaving. We loved our afternoon beers at the bar taking a break from the sun. The staff members who we would like to praise are Christian – Danni – Orismel – Javi Mena - Aythemi The pool area was also spotless and the water temperature was perfect. It was nice to see there was a ramp for disabled people. Plenty of loungers and plenty of parasols. I would also like to say a thank you to the staff who work behind the scenes. This is our 4th time staying at the Club Maspalmos Suite & spa We didn’t think this hotel could get any better but it’s gone up another level, exceptional. Every aspect was perfect, from the moment we arrived as they welcomed us back remembering we had been previously. There were extras now such as smoothies , ice creams all complimentary during our stay. Food at breakfast was first class and plenty of it. Pool areas and rooms very clean with the staff working throughout the day. Bar service and evening entertainment especially the Duke Band creating a great atmosphere. We will be back next year again without any hesitation. Thank you to all the team for a great holiday

Amazing holiday resort, beautiful clean apartment houses, spotless manicured grounds, food is great, entertainment is top notch, every member of staff were friendly and excellent in their roles. Special mention to Francesca, who served us on numerous occasions, always with a smile on her face, always very friendly and quick to keep us fed and watered. Each team member was part of a well-oiled machine, credit to the management for their high standards. Highly recommended and will return ourselves in the near future.

We had the most amazing stay at the Maspalomas Suites and Spa. The service is second to none and cannot be faulted. The staff work so hard but seem to work so well as a team and enjoy their work, they really can’t do enough for you. Special mention to Kevin and Francesca in the restaurant, and Enrique for the best poolside strawberry daiquiris ever! The food in the restaurant is beautiful, fresh, flavoursome, varied and well presented. Great entertainment every evening too, you really don’t need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to though we really enjoyed the half hour walk to the beach and a game of golf at the nearby course. The grounds are immaculate, suites are modern, comfortable and clean. There are sun loungers outside each suite so the pool area is never too pressured. Water aerobics was great fun too ! Great attention to detail in everything and lovely touches to make you feel a valued guest, such as free ice cream around the pool, water fountain and free ice. We didn’t use the gym and spa but had good feedback from other guests. Many people we spoke to were returning guests and we will certainly be joining them. A great relaxing, fun holiday!

We have just returned from a week at this lovely resort. All the reviews are spot on! Accommodation is set out with lots of space, table chairs and loungers outside the junior suites. The grounds are lovely and kept immaculate. The rooms are spotless, and cleaned daily. The staff work very hard but always have a smile, a friendly greeting and nothing is too much trouble. The owner clearly likes attention to detail and expects his staff to da the same, and it certainly shows. The evening entertainment was excellent with different acts every night. There was a lovely selection of food and the waiting staff were fantastic. Thank you for a lovely relaxing week away with my cousin. We will definitely be back. Julie and Elaine

The hotel was exceptional, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they will do anything to help out. The hotel and pools are immaculate, everything was cleaned daily. The food was delicious. I’d recommend getting a car to travel to places such as Mogan, which is beautiful and has a lovely beach. However, there are always taxis right outside the hotel and a shuttle bus to Maspalomas for local restaurants and the beach. The only negative we had was not having a fridge in our room, but this isn’t major. Would love to stay again.

Full of repeat customers, now I know why. You just can't fault this fabulously run, laid back, chilled hotel. On arrival plenty of friendly staff, nice glass of chilled prosecco making you feel at home straight away. Food is very very good, fantastic choice, excellent quality, cooked to order items at breakfast and evening meal, free bottled water with meals, free prosecco with breakfast, half board is recommended. You can eat indoors, outdoors covered or outdoors overlooking the pool. Live music some mornings at breakfast and every night. Entertainment very good and varied. Staff are exceptional, everyone of them friendly and happy . Owner very visible and hands on, backed up by lovely guest relations manager both of whom like to talk to the guests, and plenty of management keeping things ticking over. Staff wear white gloves when setting tables which is very professional. Nice touches such as free ice cream on Saturday, paella and sangria making on Friday etc. Fantastic pool with separate swimming lane...Pam got her lengths in each day..and great gym, sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool and spa. Plenty of beds around pool as everyone has 2 on their terrace as well...so no one hogging beds. Adults only with no stag or hen parties, no large groups, and no football tops which all add to the very grown up atmosphere. Nice mix of guests of all ages who respected the standards set by the hotel. It’s a little oasis where you can just switch off and relax. Lovely bungalows with bedroom, sitting room, fridge and bathroom and private terrace with table and chairs, umbrella and 2 sun beds, everything you could ask for. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they meet your every need. Free bus to Maspalomas during the day, always taxis outside if you want to go out. Jet 2 have this hotel as part of their Vibe brand....it is definitely a hotel with a very good Vibe, we will be looking to return in September and join the ranks of repeat customers
