The property was beautiful, and the staff are great! The food was also delicious and the mud massage was wonderful! I also enjoyed the yoga room! I stayed 4 nights and would definitely come back. The overall service was very personable. They did a great job keeping the mosquitoes at bay on the property as well.

There are no words for this place. The food was amazing and the resort is beautiful. Everyone made the trip unforgettable. Melanie was so incredible even before i arrived. The mood mud massage was the most unique spa treatment ever. Do not pass that up. Every detail was perfect. We literally never wanted to leave.. they dont treat you like a guest. From the moment you arrive you feel amazing. I cannot say thank you enough!

If you want an experience somewhat out of the ordinary that is different and unique, away from your electronic devices, this is the place in the jungle near Mascall Village. Stayed at Abezza Resort for 3 nights during our trip to Belize, and Melanie took fantastic care of us while there. She arranged for all of our travel from the airport to the water taxi, all of our private custom tours each day (straight from our hut room), and offers fantastic service from the friendly, personable, and knowledgable local drivers to the tour guides and staff employees. Visited 3 Maya sites while there, Lamanai, Xunantunich, and Altun Ha. All were terrific. Food and food service is excellent there. Had a great time. If you want the all in one experience from morning to evening, Abeeza Resort was the place for us.

lovely pools. pretty nature.. and then there are mosquitos. Like everywhere. In your food, room, etc. And the food is not for someone on a low salt diet.. Room was nice except there were palmetto bugs falling from the ceiling and crawling around on the floor. And the drive from the airport is right out of hell.. Huge holes in the road. Other than that it could be fun

I absolutely loved my stay at Belize Boutique Resort & Spa. It is truly one of my favorite places to visit when in Belize. The property owners are so welcoming and truly make you feel at home and provide an unforgettable experience. Belize Boutique Resort & Spa is great for the solo traveler, for couples, and even for groups. There is fine dining on the property that can cook to any diet, spa services, yoga studio, chapel, jungle in backyard, and endless activities for you to do. If planning a trip to Belize, make Belize Boutique Resort & Spa your first stop!!

We stayed here years ago, under its former name Maruba. This visit, we drove up for a day of pampering in the spa, pools, and restaurant—well worth the drive from Belize City! The resort is absolutely unique and the staff make you feel like you are the only guests. We did the day package, which included two massage treatments, welcome drink, lunch and use of the pools. We added mani-pedis before a delicious lunch with plenty of local flair. The mud massages are a must, and leave your skin feeling super soft and fresh. We followed that with aromatherapy massages for even more relaxation and restoration. Our therapists were fantastic, skilled and friendly, and we loved being able to do our massages together in the same room. We finished up our day with a soak in the warm plunge pool and delicious house made fresh drinks. Know before you go: this is about an hour and a quarter from Belize City and the last twenty minutes will be on partially paved roads. The resort is gated so they will need reservations and to know your arrival time so they can meet you at the gate. If you have trouble reaching them by phone, use WhatsApp to text! We will be back, and we will plan to stay next time.

The spa services at BBRS were simply amazing. I have been lucky enough to visit many spas throughout the world and the 2 ladies who administered services to me and my friend truly had magic hands. (The two lovely Ms M's!) Somewhat of a family run business which also provides many jobs for the nearby village of Maskall, the BBRS Is delightfully unique. The rooms are very clean, the air conditioning was needed for sleeping and it worked well, and the Menu had some diverse and interesting offerings as well as typical fare for Belize. I do not know who is cooking their bread products but they were without a doubt quite excellent. A couple of cautionary comments. You are in the jungle so there might be bugs. They control them very well but I would recommend long pants, something any traveler should take when they enter jungle terrain even when it is in a boutique environment. Also if you are addicted to Wi-Fi and connectivity just note that it's a little bit scarce but it is available. Personally I enjoyed using my phone only to take photographs and it was fun to disengage a little bit more than usual. Due to the remote nature some food offerings may not be available but there are plenty of things from which you can choose. The menu includes vegan and vegetarian options as well as one of the best steaks I've ever had in over 35 years of traveling around Belize. Everyone is very friendly and it is a fun place for a girl's get away which we were on, but I think it would also be a romantic escape for couples, as well as providing a great location for a wellness or yoga retreat. (note that they also have casitas on-site which would be suitable for larger groups traveling together such as a family.) In summary highly recommend as a grest way to see a little bit more of the lovely country of Belize without having to travel too far from the islands if that is your primary location. Note that you can also book your entire Belize experience homebased at the resort and they have the capability to get you out to many other places as well which are all listed on their website. We are so glad we visited!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Melanie was such a fantastic host. She and the whole staff treated us with impeccable service and top standard in hospitality. We felt pampered and special on our relaxing vacation. We used the spa treatments and went on a couple sponsored tours. The resort was absolutely gorgeous. Melanie took care of everything for us. We will be back for sure and will bring friends and family with us.

We had an absolutely, lovely vacation at this resort. All of their staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. If you have a special request or need, Melanie will personally try to help as well. The tour guides for the excursions are very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. They enhance your experiences with interactive and captivating conversation/information. Most of the excursions have long drives, hiking, very few bathrooms breaks and no snack breaks. Hopefully this won't scare you away, but you'll be more prepared than we were. The decor and ambiance at the resort is breathtakingly beautiful; There is a romantic and sexual theme that is imaginative and delightful. Everyday you'll notice something new around the resort. We did spend one day of our trip at the resort, being pampered, playing cards and sitting in our hot-tub. It was an exceptionally relaxing day. They have plenty of food options, seafood, vegetarian. Everything seems fresh out of the garden including herbs and fruits. This can make the menus seem repetitive, with a limited amount of ingredients(This shouldn't be a problem for a shorter trip). Wifi at the resort is limited. There was a small assortment of bugs in our room. The shower in our room fluctuated between cold and hot. Resort seems to be out in the middle of no where. Air-conditioning works fantastically.
