Abezza Resort and Adventure Spa

What an incredible place to stay. It was like being in our own little paradise. The pools were crystal clear, we were pampered, the food was fresh and delicious. The owner and drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful. If I ever return to Belize, I will spend the entire trip at this resort and make day trips.

.We had drinks and enjoyed the relaxing lush tropical setting. Our hostess Gloria gave us some local history and provided a tour of the spa facilities. The mineral bath and pool areas were very inviting. This place is definitely set up for relaxation and reflection.

The entire Abezza resort experience from pick-up to drop off at the Airport was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better experience in a more beautiful and magical place! We truly enjoyed our stay, and we WILL be back. The level of service was impeccable, and the dining was a dream come true. Amenities and lodging were top notch! The excursions were organized, efficient, and extremely enjoyable creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime! I can't say enough good things about Abezza and our experience. My words can really not do justice to how absolutely awesome our experience was. The best way to sum it up is that we truly felt like family and not guests. This is the find of the year for us!!!!! It's a absolutely gorgeous property, so many little instagram worthy nooks and crannies! There are several pools on the property and we had a "private" pool most of the time we were there! Melanie helped us through the booking process and literally took care of everything for us!!!! She goes above and beyond!!!!!!! We were picked up at the airport and transported to the resort. There are some reviews commenting on the state of the road leading there, but it's not as bad as some claim to be. It's bumpy, but doable!!!!! our 16 month old granddaughter slept through the transfer! And they are working on the road, this shouldn't be a deterrent for any one! Once you enter through the gates of the resort, your in a new world; cozy, calm, zen, everything a vacation should be. Melanie booked us all the tours we wanted to tackle during our stay, and Delwin was a fabulous tour guide for several of our outings! As the resort is in the jungle, there are no restaurants in the area. But we can assure you that the food they provide is world class; everything is home made (pasta, bread etc) lots of ingredients are grown on the property, so freshness is important. We stayed for 4 nights and every single meal was absolutely delicious!!!!! The staff is incredible, friendly, efficient and always smiling. Melanie's super power is her making you feel just so taken care off, pampered and conveying a very calming aura that all makes this vacation so special. She knew all of us by name, always had time for a chat and a kind word. We also had the chance to use the spa facility and it was fabulous!!! I could see returning with some girlfriends for a very relaxing spa trip!!!!! thank you Melanie and your staff for everything you did for us, it was a unforgettable experience!

This resort was amazing. The pools were crystal clear and we had a private pool most of our stay. The staff spoiled us. It isn't totally modern, but had everything we needed. Cobblestone paths and tiled pools. It was just the right amount of rustic and comfort. The tile could be a bit slippery, so bring water shoes. Hibiscus flowers everywhere. The food was delicious and fresh. Melanie gave us a tour of the grounds and was so knowledgeable about the plants and animals. The drivers were also knowledgeable about the local culture. I would have stayed here the entire trip, if I had know how lovely it would be. We basically entered paradise as soon s we went through the gates. Thank you to Melanie and all her staff for an unforgettable experience. If I return to Belize, I would absolutely stay here again.

Abeeza is a special place with a special staff. I would definately get a junior suite. Food is so fresh. Staff values your business. Always looking for ways to help you enjoy the resort and the surrounding area. Did a Alton Ha visit as well. Melanie is a gem.
