A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful.
Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside.
Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

I used it because I had a business nearby.
I had a child of 1 and a half years old, so I want you to call in advance and put the bed on the wall. I'm asking you to prepare a bed guard.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was told by phone, so it was very helpful. Also, my buttocks disappeared and I was able to ask at the front desk, which was very helpful. The room was clean and I didn't care about noise and I could sleep well.
The coin laundry was also 200 yen for the washing machine and 100 yen for 30 minutes for the dryer, so it was easy to use. Also, I would like to use it when there is something nearby.

When I fly tomorrow, I usually stay at a hotel near the airport. In short, there is no problem with ”inorganic” facilities as long as you can get on the plane the next morning. December last year. After traveling around Kyushu with the 18 ticket, I stayed one night at Eminence near Aso Kumamoto Airport. I didn't expect much from staying at this hotel, which costs about 6,000 yen per night including breakfast, but... Guests can use the hot spring facility adjacent to the hotel for free, and there is also a dining room in the same building. I soaked in the hot springs among the day-trippers, ate pork cutlets for 800 yen at the cafeteria, and was extremely satisfied that I was able to take it easy. Next, I booked an LCC from Kumamoto in September, thinking that I would stay for a few nights and settle on ”Mr. Shosuke Obara”.

We took Highway Bus (2.5hr) from Fukuoka Airport to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Koko Hotel is directly connected to the bus terminal. Hotel was opened in June 2022 and there were now clear signages to Koko Hotel as we alighted from the bus. We took escalator to the 2F and take the lift to the 14F where the Hotel lobby is. From the lobby, we get a clear view of Kumamoto Castle. Our Superior Twin Room is very spacious and comfortable. We paid Y32,310 for 2 nights. It is 10 mins walk to the Castle, and 10 mins taxi ride to Kumamoto Station. Amu Plaza next to Kumamoto Station has plenty of eateries. Sakuramachi has Family Mart, restaurants and shops.

The hotel is very new and the room is very clean. All the equipment is very friendly, and each bed has a power plug and USB plug at the end of the bed. The bathroom has a large bathtub and a toilet that is large enough for one person to lie flat. The only thing is that there is nothing near the hotel, the traffic is inconvenient, the nearest convenience store is about 10 minutes walk. Hotel for self-driving people.

It is a hotel close to Kumamoto prefectural office. It is a little far from downtown, so it is not within walking distance from the station, but in front of Kumamoto prefectural office, about ５ minutes walk, high-speed buses and limited Express buses from various parts of Kyushu stop. The airport limousine bus also stops, so I think it is accessible when you come by bus. Of course, there is also a parking lot, so I think it is good to come by private cars or rental cars. In addition, when going to the downtown area, the bus can be used from the Tersa Mae bus stop of Kumamoto City bus if only the time is available, and there are many buses from the prefectural office Mae bus stop, so I didn't feel bitter about access. The room was renewed since I stayed before, and the unit bus was especially clean. There is also a sofa in the single room and it is made up of a large size. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the number of rooms was small, so it was Sunday, but it was not crowded and I was able to relax.

Although there is a fee, there is a parking lot and it is close to the downtown area, so I think the location is very good.
The lobby and rooms are spacious and comfortable, but I was concerned that the toilet didn't flush well and there were some brown stains (probably stuck there over the years).
There was another single room at a very reasonable price, but I found out in the information section of Trip.com that the room didn't have a window, so I decided to go for a room with a window, although it was about twice the price (because it was a weekend). I chose it.
I think it would be a shame to have a room without a window in this location near the river and the distance from other buildings.
If renovation is not possible, I would like you to clearly state that the hotel's official website does not state that reasonably priced rooms do not have windows.
I don't like rooms without windows, so if I had chosen a room without windows without knowing about it, it would have been a very disappointing trip.
Also, although there were no rooms available for non-smoking and smoking was allowed, there was still a faint smell of cigarettes.

Value for money Hotel choice! It’s right adjacent to the bus terminal and a large shopping mall with lots of choices of food. There is a free ramen at night after the hot spring and also free popsicles which I think it is very generous and tentative. The room is clean and fit in two single beds and two futons so enough for four pax.

After a 2.5 weeks trip, I can now say that this was by far the best hotel I have been in, and the best meal. The location (5 minutes from the superb garden I wanted to see, plus as a hotel guest you get in for free) is great. The air con was perfect, not too intrusive yet during the heat wave it felt just right. And the food! With a view from the roof tops as you feast. The staff was also lovely and friendly, the bathroom kitted out with all the mod cons a westerner would like. I cannot recommend it enough.
