A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

It is a little far from downtown, so it is not within walking distance from the station, but in front of Kumamoto prefectural office, about ５ minutes walk, high-speed buses and limited Express buses from various parts of Kyushu stop. The airport limousine bus also stops, so I think it is accessible when you come by bus. Of course, there is also a parking lot, so I think it is good to come by private cars or rental cars. In addition, when going to the downtown area, the bus can be used from the Tersa Mae bus stop of Kumamoto City bus if only the time is available, and there are many buses from the prefectural office Mae bus stop, so I didn't feel bitter about access. The room was renewed since I stayed before, and the unit bus was especially clean. There is also a sofa in the single room and it is made up of a large size. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the number of rooms was small, so it was Sunday, but it was not crowded and I was able to relax.

The hotel receptionist is a sister in a T-shirt, and there is no atmosphere called ”Hotel Man”, but I was able to check in and check out smoothly, and there is no rudeness. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. The hotel is very clean and the service and breakfast are satisfactory. For me, the fact that it wasn't in front of the station was a little negative. This is the perfect hotel for people sightseeing in Kumamoto.

A very good surprise... The spa is great... Opened all night from 15:00 ... Up to 9:30 am... So just great. Location is a bit out of the busy area. So it's just great. Don't expect to sleep daytime tho... The train pass by...or is the tramway ? Anyway... Bed was comfy. Be careful... There is no 24/7 counter. They are closed maybe from midnight... Up to 11am minimum. So, you better ask things when it's opened
