Very nice Fairfield. Excellent customer service from check-in to check out. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Nice, clean, and well-maintained facility. Rooms were very comfortable. Due to ongoing road construction on highway 59 North at the exit off I 20 watch for the road to this Fairfield, left turn. Not an issue, just watch for it. Just after the exit going west or across the bridge if heading east on I 20.

Stopped by here on 5/25 as i was traveling through. The website and a sign at the desk when checking in clearly stated breakfast to go. I understand that the buffet can not be served but i did expect a grab and go. The clerk this morning at 6:30 told my daughter they did not have any bags and all they had was coffee. Unacceptable. I am a titanium lifetime member. Once again i understand that the standard breakfast is not and should not be available during Covid but not having anything means i have to stop somewhere and get food. The timeline is not correct this was stuck and had not been sent so I am sending it now.

This hotel is one of the dirtiest hotels I think I have stayed. I stay at Marriotts across the country on a weekly basis. I personally believe the hotel manager is disengaged in what is going on. After checking in at 2am and pulling the covers back, the bed is full of body hair. The room wasn’t cleaned prior. I pulled all the covers off the bed and a large urine stain on the mattress. It’s challenging in finding good help today and I realize that. However there should be quality control inspection throughout the facility even if the GM is having to do it. The GM isnt prompt in coming into work according to staff. The worse !

Worst Marriott, I have ever stayed in! My advice is to find another hotel. The place is dirty and in disrepair. I found it hard to believe that this was the highest priced Marriott in the area and that it was so run-down. They overcharged me for two nights, and the manager blamed it on an IT issue, and she acted like she was doing me a favor by refunding me for the two nights that I was overcharged. As an ambassador member of Bonvey, my expectations were not met in any way

Pro (there is only one): the staff is SO nice Cons: no A/C working in breakfast room, front doors wouldn’t stay closed so lobby was hot as well, pool closed, fitness center closed, it is NOT a clean hotel by any stretch of the imagination, no plugs hardly as it is older hotel so had to move bedside table to plug phone in, nowhere to put suitcase so it stayed on the desk, said it had streaming but no internet connection available, and the cherry on top- BEDBUGS. Would HIGHLY suggest staying somewhere else- anywhere else.

The room itself is good. Size, amenities, a/c, and bathroom are good. Beds fair. Room to room noise is a bit high. Mobile key worked fine. No greeting in lobby, or breakfast area. Saturday breakfast was very minimal. “Convenience store” variety of soft drinks and snacks very minimal.

Upon arrival we were shocked at the appearance of the hotel…grass almost knee high, trash everywhere and bushes and shrubs higher than windows. Inside Lobby is sparse and unwelcoming and snack area is also sparse. However, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful…especially Destiny who made restaurant recommendations; the breakfast attendant was a bright Ray of sunshine to brighten yr day. Room was clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed pool and hot we’re not open, come to find out they have been closed for years….need to update on website! Military discounts given for stay…..hotel appears tired and needs TLC, but the staff is wonderful

This hotel is in very poor condition. I travel frequently and spend over 6 months per year in hotel rooms so I believe I’m a good judge of hotel quality. This location needs a lot of work and some major cleaning. The sofas in the suites are disgusting and filthy. I would not recommend this location unless absolutely necessary.

I was hesitant to book this stay due to the other reviews I read. I was really pleased that we didn’t bypass this hotel and went ahead and booked. The rooms were all updated with new carpet and furniture. Very clean and nice and cool upon our arrival. The morning breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, bagels, oatmeal , fresh fruit and waffles. We really could not expect anything more. The staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile. We would definitely stay again!
