Just stay here. This is the best hotel. There's no other option. By the way, the breakfast is so delicious that it makes your organs go wild, so be sure to order breakfast.

I loved it for the view over the city and because I love this kind of architecture and interior design. The room was, however, tiny (which I didn't mind but others might), the walls very hear-through and, what I did mind most: the swimming pool on the roof not accessible for hotel guests, even though it advertises with pictures of it. Breakfast was fine and the view great and just being there very inspiring. Still expensive for what it is.

Do not stay here, it is awful. The hotel is on 2 floors - 3 and 4 - in original Corbusier built building and it has not been updated or changed since then. Which gives you old, dirty, shabby and very manky decor and is far from clean - do not think it is cute 60’s. I wanted to run a mile from here when we arrived but unfortunately during Olympics. And extortionate rates - paid over €400 a night, it is not worth €40. The service appalling too - we did not get a hand towel on day 2., The shower gel/shampoo was watered down beyond belief and when we used it all, not replenished. WiFi pretty useless, if you managed to get connected, it drops a lot so not very usable. The closet doors are impossible to open, the safe could not be worked, the bathroom door does not close at all. It is the worst place I have stayed at in a very long time, if not ever. We travel a lot and this was a horrible experience and sadly leaves a bitter taste despite enjoying the Olympics in Marseille.

Phenomenal building and a privilege to stay over night. You can access the roof terrace and service floors. Room (cabin) small - but what I expected and had everything you need. Great staff. Only complaint was the breakfast was not worth the money, but I will definitely be back. If you like architecture - it's a must!

We spent one night in this historical hotel. Our room 442 was like going back in time. From the carpet to the sofa and the Corbusier chair, everything was in the right place to experience le concept Modulor of Le Corbusier. The view from the roof, cafe and the room is great looking at the island. The location, ideal for an event at Velodrome.

I booked for a single night with my wife as we are doing a driving tour of France. The rate of 118€ for the night seemed reasonable and the transaction was completed online. 8 days before I am due to arrive I receive an email from the hotel informing me there was an error on the website and the rate is now 338€ - nearly 3x higher! Absolutely despicable customer service. They should honour the price given it was their error.

The hotel public rooms and bedrooms retain all original features, situated on the third and fourth floors of this building. The decor is kept fresh. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant evening meal was excellent. The view from the ninth floor rooftop is amazing. Bus stop across the road for access to city centre. Metro ten minute walk away, one change to the old port. Supermarket nearby, lots of cafes bars nearby. We were a group of four adults and two children and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was very interesting to stay in this architectural landmark that is hailed both as creative genius and as a detrimental concept in terms of impact on the urban landscape. The room was small but the built-ins and views once planned to make small apartments livable work well for hotel guests. The DOWNSIDE of this hotel, other than its distance from the center, is the management, whose attitude conjures up the stereotype of French snobbery and derision. The WiFi in the room was very unreliable and precluded use of our devices most of the time. The hotel owner actually responded to my complaint by saying that we should be there for Le Corbusier, not the WiFi! Unbelievably bad attitude for a hotel proprietor. (Also heard her speak meanly to her employee.) Also, no kettle or coffee maker provided, as we have enjoyed in almost every other hotel we have stayed in France. No even tissues and glasses. Nothing but soap and towels. So - be prepared for lack of service if you stay here and you’d better love Le Corbusier!
