Worth the price, fancy hotel close to city center. Breakfast is awesome

I must say that this stay experience was extremely disappointing, far from meeting my expectations. The attitude of the reception staff was absolutely unacceptable, and the hygienic conditions of the room were appalling. As soon as I arrived, I noticed that the bed in the first room was covered in small hairs. Hoping to resolve the issue by changing rooms, I went to reception to express my displeasure. Unfortunately, even after being assigned a new room, the problem persisted: there were still hairs on the bed. When I contacted the front desk again, their response was unacceptable. The staff dared to say: "It's normal, hairs may fall out when changing the sheets." We no longer have any other rooms available, it is not possible to change them again, unless you change hotels yourself. » I attempted to resolve the issue and even requested a refund for the second night, but my request was denied. The service attitude was extremely rude, with no consideration for customers' feelings and needs. I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed, and I strongly advise other travelers to exercise caution when choosing their accommodation, to avoid having such an unpleasant experience.

Not far from the port. The hygiene is OK. The food in the hotel is OK. There is a bus stop at the door.

top hotel, structures, cleanliness, location. The only downside of this hotel was the welcome we received from “Samuel”, an obnoxious and contemptuous receptionist who showed condescension. Having a problem with my pelvis, I needed a room with a shower, which I specified and which was written on my reservation confirmation, this dear gentleman then kindly asked me for €180 to obtain the room initially reserved. With a commercial gesture of 80€ finally. The common areas are unfortunately not suitable for PMRs.

Good hotel at reasonable price

Great location, friendly and efficient staff. Nice and comfortable swimming pool. Smart choice to ban smoking in the pool area. I would definitely return to this hotel. Perhaps the only thing I would improve is the room service and pool menu. Good but very little choice. Only one first course, one salad, one second course of meat and if I remember correctly two desserts. The rooms are quite spacious and modern. The furnishings are beautiful and the style is elegant. The rooms are well soundproofed, you can't hear the guests in the other rooms. At check-in they give you the key with a folded map of Marseille and the Wi-Fi password. Very cute and functional idea. At the entrance there is a bottle with fresh water. Given the heat of Marseille, upon returning to the hotel, cooling off with a cold drink is an excellent idea. All parts of the hotel are in excellent condition. Suitable for families but also for professionals. The pool access time ends at 8.00pm... perhaps I would have extended it to 9.00pm. To allow those passing through Marseille for work to take a bath at the end of the day. The breakfast is quite abundant and European-style... there's a bit of everything!!! For cured meats I would add a little raw ham and some mozzarella in the cheeses. The brioches are excellent and fresh. The fruit is already cut.... Basically a fruit salad... yogurt, honey, butter, Nutella, jams, different types of bread... in short, a bit of everything!!! There is a machine that dispenses different types of drinks. You can choose from the classic Italian espresso to the American one, or a good hot chocolate. Very functional. You also have the possibility of having a cup of hot water to enjoy an excellent tea. Another important thing, if you return late, the night porter is always alert and attentive. There is no risk of staying outside waiting. Fast and very functional elevators. The cleanliness of the hotel is good, as is the welcome and in general the whole atmosphere that you breathe. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The location is splendid, a few minutes from the old port on one side, otherwise on the other you immediately arrive at the Catalan beach, where you can then take a walk in the wonderful corniche... Probably from some rooms you can also see the island of Frioul... what else can I say... long live the New Hotel!!!!

Everything is perfect

This is one of our favorite hotels in the world, and we have stayed in all kinds. We feel it is very underrated; it's a "destination stay" for us. I especially recommend the 4th floor terrace rooms for nice views on the large well furnished balconies. The location is great and the staff extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are extremely well appointed with high quality linens and amenities one often doesn't get at a 5 star property. We can't wait to return again, hopefully next year, for our third stay here.
