"Riad in the middle of the city and very close to the Jemaa fna square and with an incredible attention. Personal very careful and willing to help always. Riad is very beautiful and cozy. Very recommendable"
"A Delightful Stay at Riad Janate in Marrakech
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Janate in Marrakech for two nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene ambiance and beautiful decor of this traditional riad, tucked away in the heart of the medina.
What made our stay truly exceptional was the outstanding hospitality we received. A special mention must go to Simo, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His cheerful personality and sunny smile were a constant source of warmth throughout our stay. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, arranging logistics, or simply checking in to make sure we were enjoying our time, Simo’s attentiveness made us feel at home.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches that reflected the charm of Moroccan design. Breakfast each morning was a delight, featuring fresh and delicious local offerings. The riad’s peaceful courtyard and rooftop terrace provided the perfect spots to unwind after exploring the bustling streets of Marrakech.
If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic Moroccan hospitality with impeccable service, Riad Janate is a perfect choice. I can’t thank Simo and the entire team enough for making our visit so special. Highly recommended!"

"Riad is very central in the old city, not far from Le Jardin Secret. The Japanese girl Xu Lizi bought and renovated before and after the epidemic, very courageous. Although Riad is not big, the layout is very exquisite and attentive. There is a terrace for breakfast in a daze. There are three rooms on the second floor, all in traditional Moroccan courtyard style. There are also Mitsubishi cats, some will enter the room to visit, very cute. Riad also has IG, you can contact in advance."

Outstanding
GGuest UserAs very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that “palace in the middle of the oasis experience” in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!
GGuest UserThis is a great place to come and relax. The service is excellent and the facilities top notch. The food and restaurands are very tasty and diverse. We spend 7 days exploring Marrakesh and sourounding areas and came here for out last 2 days for pure relaxation. It was a great experience and we look forward to our next stay there.
11581108****The hotel is average. The main thing is that the rooms they were given had bad views. One was on the first floor of the hotel and you couldn't see anything. It was a bit noisy because it was connected to the restaurant. Another room was on the second floor with a small balcony facing the back road and there was nothing there either. The hotel's interior is quite beautiful, it's nice to take a walk, and the breakfast is quite rich.
MMötley NüFCFirst off, the location was great, a lot of choice for breakfast, nice swimming pool and big/clean room. Most of the staff were actually very helpful, just the last night left a sour taste in my mouth.
I would highly recommend this hotel, but believe some staff should know better what other parts of the hotel were doing and how to speak to guests. Technically, a solo traveller, but my friend was staying in another room. Every day we were given 1 large complementary bottle or water and 2 small bottles.
However, on the final night, my friend received, but I didn’t. This was fine and I just politely mentioned it to reception. Bearing in mind there’s not many local shops to get water from, I was glad when I was told this would be rectified.
1 tiny bottle was left in my room, so I rang reception to explain, this is where things got a bit rude and I was surprised at having to ‘fight’ for a bottle of water - especially because this isn’t a cheap hotel. I was redirected to room service, who tried to charge me and then said it’s a housekeeping issue. Then spoke to reception again and then basically called me a liar when I said that I’d had free complimentary water every day.
The lack of water didn’t really bother me, it was that I was sent around in circles and then rudely told I was wrong, even when I pointed out that I’d received water 3-days in a row. After about an hour trying, and very very thirsty, housekeeping - who were very friendly btw - dropped off 4 small bottles of water. If it were a housekeeping issue, I could’ve been told this from the start and there wouldn’t have been an issue.
All that being said, I actually really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Marrakech itself.
GGuest UserPlace is nice and clean, staff was also very helpful.
However, do note that the address is not the actual address of the riad. I am travelling alone, and only booked this riad because it was right beside where my friends are staying. I only found out when I arrive that it is a 4-5mins walk from the actual address stated on trip.com. Which was very misleading and they should update the correct address. Kudos to the staff who was very nice to walk me out many times, as I prefer to have someone walk me in the early mornings, and at night. Provided water, and also very helpful and friendly.
Another issue I had was that I arranged an airport transport to pick me from the airport, and was told the driver will be carrying the hotel sign with my name. I could not find the driver and panicked, again because I was travelling alone. I had to call the riad to realise that the driver was not carrying the correct sign, but another name similar to Riad Dar Massai, and did not have my name on it. Which was honestly impossible for me to recognise which is my driver. The sign should be made clear to guest first time in Marrakesh to just show ”RIAD DAR MASSAI + name of guest”.
Finally, the aircon was great, but blankets were really thin. I know they provided extra blankets but I did not use it. So I am very cold at night.
Apart from the few drawbacks, it is overall a beautifully designed Riad, I actually really loved the interior architecture, and the rooms are clean and spacious, showers are hot and nice.

Great
GGuest UserWhat an amazing experience it was to stay at this Riad. When we arrived, we were greeted by Karim, who welcomed us with a tour of the Riad and tea on the rooftop. He gave us a map and explained everything we needed to know about the area and getting to all the tourist sites. The Riad is in a perfect area... close to the Saadiam tombs and only a short walk to the main square. Taxis are easy to find and can easily drive right to the door of the Riad so it is in a brilliant location. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and the facilitates were amazing, we slept soundly every night and loved the room. Breakfast in the mornings was a treat also. You are greeted by a friendly staff member, and we loved the rooftop breakfast we got every morning. The spa is also wonderful. As a couple, we went for a package traditional Hammam, followed by a massage, and it was great. Again, the staff in the spa area, the facilities, and the overall experience were absolutely amazing. A special mention to every staff member in the Riad: The friendliest, most accommodating I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, especially Karim, Muhammad, Mustapha, and another gentleman whose name I have forgotten. They were so kind and helpful, greeting us with a smile every time we saw them and putting so much effort into making our stay fantastic. If you are thinking about booking this Riad, do it immediately. You will not regret it. When we return to Marrakech, we will be staying here again, and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. Thank you, Riad Almisk, we loved our 4 days in your wonderful establishment.

SSarahThe staff were very attentive. The roof terrace was lovely, as were the rooms and the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was convenient and massive with a few options. We would recommend staying at this hotel and it was nice staying in the new town away from the Medina.

FFarahWe had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was!
Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.

SSchaalBI really like this hotel, the rooms are really well appointed with air conditioning or heating and efficient internet. Professional and pleasant staff, restaurant and swimming pool at the top. The best location in Marrakech, in the heart of the Hivernage district. To do and redo for a price much lower than all the other hotels in the surrounding area.
LLilyThe room has a bathtub, and because it is not connected, it is very quiet. The breakfast is also rich and very Moroccan. The service is also very good, but it is a bit difficult to find
