First of all the on site staff are all amazing and could not have been more helpful and hospitable during our visit - Thank you ! ...................BUT..........the whole hotel needs a bit of love and given there was only 2 other people there when we stayed there are no excuses...........and its not surprising the place is so quiet. The food is at best average, breakfast is offered privately outside your room (which is a really lovely touch) but its basic (a cut up apple in OJ is NOT a fruit salad!?) and I don't expect to pay extra for eggs or an extra cup of tea and coffee in a 5 start hotel should not be Nescafé! The pool area is beautiful (and a treat to have it to ourselves) but they don't even put up the umbrellas and the very tired cover, which I assume is only used in winter sits there at the end of the pool, little touches would just make it look that much more inviting. The other food we tried was again simple and not inexpensive but the Rose was at least very well priced and delicious! The rooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable etc but I had to ask for an upgrade after seeing my identical room available online for over 20% less than I had paid!? They did upgrade us at no extra cost but it would still have been cheaper to book via Mr Mrs Smith (who I am sure have not visited in a long time given there own high standards!?) The hotel is located about 20mins away from town in a very peaceful and what seemed extremely secure neighborhood (don't be alarmed by the arrival route) and they ordered us a very good transfer into town and back (€20 each way which can add up but we appreciated the complementary transfers to and from the airport). I fear that until they have more customers things wont and cant change - more customers, more atmosphere, more people staying for dinner etc etc. I hope they don't give up on this amazing opportunity but it feels like this hotel might have had its best days....................

A real "boutique" hotel! 10 separate thatched rooms dotted round the gardens. We had one of the smaller ones and it was lovely! Terrific shower, comfortable beds & extremely peaceful location. The pool is excellent, lovely warm water, necessary in February, and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast outside your room is v. pleasant, coffee, orange juice, pastries etc. The lunch snack menu could do with being expanded a little and also it would be nice to have different choices of food in the evening rather than the same menu every day. We enjoyed the food, all beautifully cooked and presented and the wine here is cheap, 50% less or more, that in the Medina. For a lazy break, sitting by the pool with a book you couldn't want for more. I'd avoid the Ourika Valley day out though; we enjoyed it, but it was SO touristy that we felt a bit like a cash crop - which of course we are! However our driver was good fun & we felt very safe on the chaotic roads.

Exceeded all expectations. The service and kindness of the staff were next level, particularly Majid and Taha who ensured we were always comfortable. It’s an ideal base, to relax in the well appointed suites and lounge by the beautiful pool during the day. At night the hotel will arrange a driver to take you to and from the Medina, where you have an overwhelming choice of excellent restaurants. If you choose to stay and dine at the hotel you won’t be disappointed, the quality of food is great. We loved our breakfasts set up in the garden outside our suite. Really we will return many times. I cannot think of anything negative to say.

Our stay at Hotel Les Cinq Djellabas was delightful. The rooms, which are more like luxurious huts, along with the stunning grounds, provided a serene sanctuary perfect for unwinding on a sun lounger or taking a dip in the pool, especially after the hustle of the Medina. The staff couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. However, one area that could be improved is the dining experience. While adequate, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the room and service, especially given the cost. The hotel's convenient city transfer service meant we could easily enjoy the more vibrant and budget-friendly culinary delights of the city for dinner. A special mention must go to Brahim, our driver, whose humor and good spirits made every trip into the city an added joy. Be sure to ask for him; his laughter is as memorable as the sights of Marrakesh!

We stayed for three nights during our visit to Marrakesh after staying in two Riads too. The location was so secluded and peaceful and was exactly what we wanted to break from the hustle of the medina. Communication pre arrival was excellent and our welcome was very warm. Our room was stunning and the grounds very well maintained and cared for. The best thing were the amazing staff who were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. They set tables up outside for dinner and on the terrace for us to watch sunset and went above and beyond to cater for our every need. You really don’t get hospitality like this in many places. Thank you so much to everyone for making our stay so special.

My husband and I recently returned to Les Cinque Djellabas Hotel in Marrakech for the second time, and we were just as blown away by the hotel as we were the first time in 2019. The ambience at Les 5 Djellabas is calm and relaxed. The hotel suites are spread out across a lush vast garden, providing a serene escape, and a feeling of total privacy and tranquility. The design of the villa style suites is a true testament to Moroccan craftsmanship. Our hut was a blend of elegance and comfort, featuring authentic furnishings, rich fabrics, a four poster bed, and a large bathroom with bath, and open marble wet room style shower. The aircon and wifi were also great! It felt like a true retreat, allowing us to unwind fully after exploring the vibrant streets of Marrakech. The highlight of the hotel for us, was undoubtedly the stunning swimming pool. Surrounded by palm trees and loungers, the pool area felt like an oasis within the oasis. It was the perfect spot to soak up the sun and relax inbetween our adventures. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, coffee, yoghurt and home made spreads. We also enjoyed staying at the hotel for lunch and loved the tuna salad so much we ordered it every day! As for the location, Les 5 Djellabas strikes the perfect balance. While it's nestled in a peaceful neighbourhood, it's just a 20 minute drive away from the airport, the bustling Medina and major attractions. Our second stay at Les 5 Djellabas Hotel was again an unforgettable experience. The ambience, design, and attention to detail throughout the property make it a true oasis of luxury. We can't wait to return, and create more wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

Excellent few days here. Really made our trip to Morocco special. The rooms are spotless, the staff were so friendly and tentative. We had Breakfast outside the room every morning and they set up a dinner table one evening in the gardens. We would definitely return here.
