Riad Pachavana

The conditions do not match the description provided on your platform. Specifically: The room is not clean. Stained, dirty rugs and dirty seating. There is no Wi-Fi in the room despite it being advertised. We had a leak in our room water on the floor The heating is insufficient, and the room is freezing. We Had to sleep with jumpers and leggings and socks on. They told us that the A/C would warm the room in an hour, nothing we called the staff member back and he said it was not working, sorry. We met a couple staying in the property in the morning and they too said they were very uncomfortable and extremely cold and slept with their outdoor clothes at night. The hot water runs out after one shower. This stay was intended to celebrate my mother who turned 78 and my sister’s 35 birthdays, and it has been very disappointing. The only nice thing was the staff that worked there, so wonderful. We checked out after 1 night, we were due to stay 3 nights. The owners refused to refund us.

Beautiful Riad, lovely spacious room, cleanliness not a problem at all. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful when it came to printing boarding passes/asking for help with anything local. Mega thanks to everyone who helped make our stay so perfect!

We had an amazing stay for my birthday at the riad. Khamissa and Ashraf were very nice and so helpful. The riad is ideally located near the center of the medina and near the new town so you can visit a lot by walk from this riad. We had the largest room on the top floor and that was great too. Thanks again to Khamissa for being such a nice host she helped us book all of our activities (quad, Ouzoud waterfalls trips...)! Would 100% recommend this riad.

Everything and Everyone was spot on - the Riad was beautiful and sooo calming and is in the perfect location to the souks and city centre and the staff were just soo kind and helpful. I would highly recommend and go back again in the future. Will never forget

A very pretty riad with a gorgeous roof terrace. Our young adult daughters had a room at roof terrace level, whilst we were on the ground floor. Great service, lovely atmosphere. A reasonably good breakfast. Well positioned although it is a good 15 min walk to the centre of Marrakech. Just one thing: the ground floor bedroom was a bit noisy since you tend to hear all the action from people eating and drinking in the common spaces.

We travelled to Marrakech as a family of 7 to celebrate our son's 18th birthday. We were picked up by the driver from the riad at the airport and taken to the riad. You have to walk the last few minutes as the streets are too narrow for a car but that was fine. From the moment we walked in on the first evening it was incredible; the candles were lit, there was a special light shining making patterns all round - it was amazing - felt like walking into a dream! I love the trees growing in the central courtyard - it gave it a lovely tropical feel. The rooms were lovely, we had 3 different rooms, all traditionally themed and beautiful - but with robes, hairdryers, comfy beds, everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a tagine meal when we first arrived and this was delicious. The breakfast is also very nice, with a wide variety of yoghurts, fruit, cakes, bread, cheese, ham and eggs. The roof top terrace is a lovely suntrap. It is very nice and has various areas to relax and chill out, sit and read or sunbathe. I do think they need a few more sunbeds, as there is only 6 and that was not even enough for our group and sometimes other people were on them. The weather was beautiful and sunny - so we even had a dip in the pool although this was quite cold - it would be refreshing when it is super hot weather I imagine. The location of the riad was great, it was a very peaceful and calm area, about a 15 minute walk to the main square, but this was through all the souks which we loved walking through and buying lots of trinkets. The staff were absolutely lovely - so helpful with everything we asked them. The two guys - Ashraf and the other one were charming and great fun with us all and especially with our little boy. We chatted to them about where is good to visit and any hints and tips to go and do, and also life in Marrakech in general. It is was our son's 18th and they made a birthday cake for him, and let us set up a fun area up to celebrate with balloons and banners on the sun terrace. We visited a nearby Hamman which was a fab experience but I think there is also a small one in the riad. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and really felt safe and relaxed in the lovely Riad Pachavana- Thank you again to all the staff for our stay! Marrakech over all we found to be vibrant, buzzing, colourful, mystical - a wonderful place and very friendly, welcoming locals!
