Beautiful riad. Lovely spacious beautiful room. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. Breakfast slightly disappointing. All breads. One day an egg, next day no egg. No tea, just coffee. But really enjoyed the stay. Good location too, near tinsmiths square.

Reception was friendly and efficient! Did not try the pool but the breakfast was decen, not a buffet style but served to you as a set meal. The meal was good for the price paid

It’s a beautiful riad. We felt ourselves welcome. The host offered us Moroccan mint tea when we arrived. Our staying was very comfortable. Location is perfect, inside Medina, the old town, close to everything one needs. Breakfast is good enough.

The road was lovely. We arrived early but was a shame we couldn't check in till 2. We were a bit miffed as when we paid for the booking he insisted it was done with the card in the name of the booking and we couldn't use my husband's card then the card I used had my initials so he said that wasn't the same name either. It shouldn't matter as long as they get the money. The beds were hard but the rooms very comfortable. We had breakfast on one morning and it was ok. The pool area and roof terrace is in the shade at this time of year so bear that in mind if you want to relax in the sun.

We asked the Riad to help us out with a last minute cancellation due to a family health problem. They refused to cancel our booking without full penalty; furthermore when we arrived on the second night of our 3-night booking after making travel adjustments, they had given our room away to someone else! We hadn’t even cancelled our booking, which was fully paid. Totally unapologetic. Would never do business with them again.

Pretty Riad. Very friendly staff. Works similar to an B&B. Typical Moroccan breakfast. The pool at the rooftop is small but we'll worth the dip on a hot day. Good location. Felt safe going to and from the alley after dark. Dinner was available but we didn't have time to try it out.

Excelent Staff, Service & rooms. You walk down a small narrow ally to reach the raid. Enter by a small door, & feel like you have stepped into a bright airy tardis. The carvings & paintwork, have magical feel, as if your stepping into the past. Although the rooms can apear somewhat basic and small, they are airy and comfortable. With original decoration throughout the room. The Riad Carina is situated in the old town just off Tinsmiths Square. Lots of places to visit & eat in close proximity, often within a 5 to 15 walk away. If you go to marakech you should experience staying in a riad at least once, just to get the truley magical feeling marakech has to offer. Something you really don't get in a modern hotel.
