The room was not very good and not very clean but the rest of the place is nice for what it is worth. The food was okay not the best, not a lot of variety. The place is a bit further out from the centre of Marrakech.

Absolutely loved my stay at Valeria Madina in Marrakech! The resort is stunning, and the team there made my week-long stay truly special. Big thanks to the incredible animation team, especially Lolo, Aya, and Olaya, for going above and beyond to celebrate my brother’s birthday and keeping us entertained every day from morning till night. The food was tasty, although a bit more variety would be a nice touch to mix things up. I’d also suggest some more sustainable options for cups—paper cups were a bit of a hassle. it would be great if the staff confirmed language preferences, as most assumed we spoke French—English would have been easier for us. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I’d gladly come back for another stay. See you again soon, Valeria Madina!

So I wanted to come on & leave a review as I was so worried when reading others. Firstly when we arrived we was told we could not stay at the hotel that night & was taken to the sister hotel, no idea why & wasn't told why. Food is ok very repetitive, we did all have bad stomaches as well. Only severed chips 2 times in 11 days, yes not the end of the world but it def helps when you have children, mainly French and it was hard to know what was being said esp during the daytime entertainment and evening, I think there must have been some complaints as during the last few days you could see they were trying to translate more in English. The animation team explained that this August was the busiest the hotel had ever been and at one point had over 2500 guests. Overall we did enjoy our stay, the pools are all great, splash park with slides for all ages. There is an adult only pool (Mango) was relaxation beds, but food and drink are not free, we actually ate there one evening as children are allowed in the evening and it was lovely, roughly around £70/80 for 4 main courses, 5 drinks and 2 desserts, the water, bread and olives were complimentary. Be aware if you want pool towels it's 100 dirham each towel, which you get back at the end of your stay. There is also city tax you have to pay, for adults and children over 7, we had to pay 800 dirham for 10 days. We had no issues with our room or it being cleaned, but some had bad issues with ants and aircon not working. WIFI can be very hit and miss as well.

The place was beautiful, lots of greenery ,5 outdoor pools to serve Whatever you prefer. Lots of different food to choose from at a high standard.lunch and dinner especially. Great tasting local beer.and good wine ,mainly the entertainment was in french, but there was plenty of English to meet and chat with. The weather was around 28° every day, with just 2 overcast days out of ten .staff all seemed happy and we're all a tentative. All in all,a very enjoyable holiday. And a good price too. P.s. the room was large and cleaned Every day.

Honestly the only good thing about this hotel was that the staff fed the cats and puppies ( before the puppies were locked out of the hotel) so if you’re not an animal lover you won’t like the hotel. On arrival we requested ground floor, was put on third floor, which happened to the be the highest, and told us to leave the buggy at reception. We were in block 500, which is too far for an 18 month to walk at least 5 times a day. Changed to ground floor. TV, phone, shower and wifi didn’t work. Requested for it to be fixed, told to wait in room. Waited 4 hours and nothing. Lovely first day…not! Changed rooms on day 2 and again the TV and phone didn’t work. Paid the deposit for the kettle so we could make our daughters bottle and was told they would bring it to the room. We thought they meant that day…no they meant 3 days after paying the deposit. All the entertainment was in French. ALL OF IT! One day they said ‘ tonight it is English night from 7pm’ so we got down for 7pm. They played a 10 minute game in English, then the rest was French. We were asked to move tables at dinner in the middle of our food, as it was apparently for the workers, even though the sign said child’s corner, and there were 3 other families there. We were the only ones asked to move, we didn’t. We had plastic In the food. The food was cold and they knew about this as they provided a microwave to heat the food up. The alcohol IS watered down. Asked for a shot of whiskey in a glass. It’s normally brown, but this was yellow. Asked them to open a new bottle in front of me and give me another one and it was magically brown. We usually spend about £150 in tips for the week when we go away. We spent £5 for the entire week in tips. Staff weren’t helpful at all. Can’t change money up as the reception didn’t have enough. Tried changing £10 up and they gave us £1 English coin, €3 euros and the rest in Dirham. Had a Cash machine, but of course it didn’t work. The lady in the photo( didn’t get her name) was brilliant! Always dancing with my daughter and talking to her. Honestly couldn’t wait to get back home

A really lovely hotel, staff are so good and very welcoming, animation team is the BEST, treasure of this hotel if I am honest, plenty activities for all day and night, they really work hard to get everyone to join in but not also this they even go and speak to customers during their free/lunch time which I find it really lovely. Yes not everyone speaks English but many of them do and so many entertainment were done in both languages. Food is so lovely, you are in Morocco so do not expect English breakfast etc, so many choices for everyone, weather was lovely, there was ice cream available. They do mini club and also mini disco so children will enjoy too. Restaurant was very clean and the cleaners were always on top of their work, really appreciated their hard work Had a lovely Moroccan hammam with 25min massage ( really cheap £40) so that was lovely - thanks to Houda for the message she was great. Plenty of swimming pools and a lovely water park (shame the water was cold) Big shout out to the animation team Lili/ Emma /mounir / Noah/ aziz /oking/ karim/ happy - we had a lovely time and felt very welcomed. Definitely will be back soon With love until next time x

Avoid - do not waste your hard earned money !!!! Not usually one to write a review but do not want you to waste your precious time. - Dirty Room. - Cockroaches in room. - Damp and mould growing on walls and in shower. - Rude and unhelpful staff. - Stained bed linen and towels. - Food was cold, flavourless, and often had flies and birds eating away at the rice salads and bread. - Poor facilities - pool clean but freezing. - No AC. - No TV remote. - No water in room. - Bar dirty and running out of drinks constantly. Not a great experience - will not be returning to Morocco again. Bad stomach for 2 weeks on return back home.
