EXCELLENT SEJOUR Nous avons passé 3 semaines comme à la "Maison" à la seule différence que nous n'avons ni fait à manger ni le ménage 😁 Le lieu est magnifique. Très bien entretenu et la décoration est juste Parfaite. La chaleur étant au rendez-vous nous avons pu profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Côté restauration un pur délice, produit frais et de qualité aussi bien pour le petit déjeuner que pour le dîner. Un grand Merci à Mario et Claude pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leur simplicité. Merci à Maud pour son organisation, son sourire et sa bonne humeur entre autres... Nous reviendrons bien évidemment.

We had a really good time in hotel Aux Cyprès de Marquay in the Dordogne in France. With an amazing view from the terrace to the green valley and hills of the Dordogne region. The hotel is situated in a small village near Sarlat-la-Canéda (10 min drive). The rooms are warm and nice decorated, with excellent services. Its easy to park your car on the premises of the hotel. The hotel has an outside swimming pool. The owners are very customer focussed, friendly and helpful. Treated as a guest! We had diner and breakfast in the hotel and the food, was prepared with local products. In the morning a fresh baked apple pie! We have enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time being looked after and spoilt by Claude and Mario. The hotel is beautiful with the most spectacular views and Claude and Mario are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully decorated with a large furnished terrace to take in those views. The breakfasts were extremely substantial and set us up for the day. Claude will cook dinner if required, which we took advantage of on several occasions, and his meals were delicious. Well cooked and very tasty. There’s a very nice swimming pool with furniture all round to take advantage of the sun. A car is definitely required, lots of main tourist attractions are within a few miles, Claude was very helpful in advising us with these. The whole atmosphere was very happy and relaxing, highly recommended. Carry on tinkling the ivories that lovely white piano Claude, you can make some lovely music! We wish you both good luck for the future, you deserve it.

The hotel is located not far from the places we wanted to visit in the region. A small swimming pool with a very nice view of the valley gives us a relaxing feeling. An excellent breakfast gives a nice start of the day. Bed is very comfortable.

Arrived at 3 on a self guided walking holiday. Rooms not normally available until 4 but the front desk took pity on me (almost 30 c so perhaps they wanted me to have a shower as much as I wanted one). Room is fine size, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The garden and terrace and pool are lovely and the family cat is friendly and welcoming, but not at all intrusive if cats are a problem for you. The hotel took my food preference into account at dinner and everything was well prepared and tasty. Continental breakfast the following was fine but 8:30 is very late if one is walking and wishes to beat the heat of the day.

Nous avons séjourné pour la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel, et c'est toujours un véritable plaisir ! Les hôtes sont adorables, généreux et d'une attention incroyable. Ils nous font sentir comme à la maison dès notre arrivée. Chaque détail est pensé pour que notre séjour soit des plus agréables. Le cadre est enchanteur, et les services proposés sont excellents. Mention spéciale pour le massage, un pur moment de détente ! Je recommande sans hésitation cet endroit pour ceux qui recherchent une escapade relaxante et chaleureuse. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Une équipe formidable vous attend aux Cyprès de Marquay : du petit déjeuner (avec tarte maison!) jusqu'au diner le soir en passant par de relaxants massages tout est parfait. Le lieu est calme, décoré avec goût et à proximité des lieux à visiter du Périgord noir. La piscine est un plus pour se reposer et se rafraichir. Vous serez aux petits soins avec Mario et Claude
