Located in Marmaris Icmeler region, the location of the hotel is very good. We were very satisfied with the staff. The food was of sufficient variety and was very tasty. The hotel has its own place and sun loungers on the beach. In short, although it is a four-star hotel, it was a hotel that we liked very much.

I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position. However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings. One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment. The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity. It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience. In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class destination.

Me and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO

my daughter & I stayed in this hotel and we was very impressed with how clean the hotel rooms were and pool area! Rooms are a nice size and had a lovely view. The staff were extremely lovely, helpful and made us feel very well especially the bar/pool staff. The alcohol and food was very nice too and ate most days around the pool!

We have been coming to this hotel for many years now. The 1st time was when our son was conceived (lol) then known as the Elif Mar, 25 years ago! The update which this hotel has had over the years is great. As of late the decor in the bedrooms do need updating, but you can get by. The main reason we come back to this hotel is because of the location, the friendly atmosphere among the staff with us and also the cleanliness of our rooms. The reception staff are extremely attentive to your needs if you have a problem or a request. They will go above and beyond their call of duty. The housekeeping will do anything for you, I had a torn blouse and they repaired it without charge, no problem, done within 30 mins. The bar staff are happy and very chatty with you, asking about you and letting them know abt themselves too. If you are all inclusive, ok, the food can get a bit repetitive if your staying for 2 weeks, but there are so many varieties, bearing in mind it is not your 5 star from Spain were you get amount fulls of dishes. It is a small boutique hotel adults only, not a big hotel. The drinks are all inclusive but not on exported ones, as well as cocktails. In all we will be staying in this hotel again, it is right on the beach, free sunbeds and towels on the actual beach.

I stayed at the Poseidon hotel in July this year with a friend an we had a great time! Everything was excellent - our room was clean and comfortable, the food was amazing, both Turkish and international cuisine, and our free time was filled with lovely activities organized by DJ Burak - we enjoyed water fitness, yoga classes, table tennis and darts tournaments, and great music played by the hotel swimming pool. Great cocktails and snacks made our stay at the beach and by the swimming pool more complete. We were never bored and never hungry! :) The staff is polite, fun and always ready to help. The real Turkish hospitality! I would definitely like to repeat this experience.

Food was only average, hardly any beef or lamb, rarely fish and only 1 kind, lots of chicken and turkey, service staff friendly

Me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at Orka Lotus Beach for 7 nights in October 2023. The moment we arrived we were impressed by the grand entrance and met with a warm smile and welcomed by a young man at the front desk. We grabbed a drink from the bar while we waited for our room and soon as our drinks were in hand, we were whisked away to our room on a golf caddy which was an exiting first impression and the gentleman escorting us jumped at a selfie opportunity! He took our bags all the way to our room and showed us the amenities. The room was comfortable and had all you would want or need from a hotel room, it was homely, stylish, comfortable and clean. We had a land view room which wasn’t all that bad as we got to see the chickens every morning, although I would consider upgrading to sea view next time as the views are breathtaking. There are a wide variety of beautiful flowers around the hotel. The hotel is built around trees and the trees are incorporated into the design and architecture. Bilal, the manager greeted us in the restaurant on the first night and remembered us by name throughout our stay. He was friendly and approachable and quick to help with recommendations for shopping, transport and even tattoos! We felt very valued to have had this service from none other than the hotel manager… running a busy hotel with hundreds of guests and staff, to remember us and take time to get to know us was a really special touch. We enjoyed getting to know all staff, particularly around the restaurant, blue bar and in the shops below the hotel. Other guests were friendly and all complimentary of their holidays too. We won a line on the bingo on our first night which put us in high spirits and earned us a meal in the Chinese restaurant which had unreal food and humorous, friendly waiters. We also won a bike hire from the shop below and ended up loving the electric bike so much it became a regular activity! We won a free photo from the photographer, which lead to us having a lovely photoshoot experience and we ended up buying more photos as they were so beautiful. I’d really recommend booking the cabanas - this was our favourite day! Having food and drinks brought to you while soaking up the sun on your own private beach hut!!! We took snorkels out too and just had the best time. We loved both Marmaris and Icmeler but Icmeler had our hearts. We loved the shops, and BS restaurant along the beachfront if you walk towards Icmeler direction. We took a boat trip to Cleopatra island where the sea is ultra clear and there are lots of fish. Our whole holiday was honestly like a slice of paradise and we can’t wait to go back but next time with our little one, parents and siblings to show them how wonderful Orka and Icmeler is!
