Just back from a week at the Costa Mare Suites, we had a lovely week in this hotel a couple of hiccups to start with but all solved. We had a lovely spacious room with a balcony, room was clean but beds uncomfortable. Quite noisy due to being close to a main road. We had the best experience in the Sophia Spa, we picked the 'Fun Day' experience and it was truely amazing, skin felt amazing afterwards and we also had a facial if staying in this hotel I recommend you treat yourself. Ozzy is a genuine guy and his staff are the best, treated very respectfully while in the spa and the massage was excellent. Can't recommend it enough.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, good location. Could have a wider selection with food, always something available, but not always our choice. On the outskirts of marmaris, some 15 minute walk to the beachfront. Would we stay again? Yes, we would, but with some subtle improvements, this could be a 4 star hotel. Lovely swimming pools, outdoor bars, and eateries. Outdoor entertainment available, but we went down the sea front to explore the area nightly.

Just returned from a week here and what a disappointment as when I booked it it had such good reviews but after speaking to a few people who had been previously only last year said since it’s been taken over by new management it has gone downhill! First our room didn’t get cleaned the day after we arrived and we never got left any clean towels and had to ask every day for clean ones which they only left 2 when there was 3 of us! We did speak to the TUI rep which he spoke to them numerous times about. The room floor never got mopped all week! Our feet were covered in muck! The sheets never got changed in a full week we was there even though there meant to after 3 days! The cleaners literally came in emptied the bins and made the beds that was it! Then took the towels and never replaced them in which we had to keep going to reception for! The food was crap! It Was lukewarm if that it’s not even hot then there is a microwave to warm your food up with a sign saying please use to warm food up! I’m just glad I liked pizza and chips as that’s what I mainly ate the snack bar at lunch time was probably the best place to eat. We ended up eating out a few times on an evening just to get some decent warm food. Breakfast was good was plenty of choice from omelettes how you want them to pancakes and waffles and fruit and toast ect but that’s the only good thing I’ll say about that food. We ordered drinks to the table one night then went to get food when we got back they had cleared our table even though there was drinks on it and we only went to get food. The bar staff is limited so on an evening your queing for agers for a drink as there is only 1-2 staff serving drinks and even if you want soft drinks your queing for them to. Also the Alcohol is very weak. They also only give you 1 keycard and if you lose it they charge your £30 which is stupid as usually you get 2 keycards to your room where ever I’ve been before. Also If your wanting a sun lounger make sure your up at 5-6am latest as on our first day we was up at 7am and there wasn’t a spare sun lounger in site they all had towels on them. This was our first time to turkey and this hotel it won’t be our last time to turkey but it will definitely be our last time to this hotel! By the sounds of it since it’s been taken over by new management it has gone down hill massively which is a shame as speaking to people who had previously been said the hotel and food used to be good and now they’ve said it’s crap

Went to the public Turkish Beldibi hamam and it was great but felt very rushed and not as relaxing. Then went to the hotels Sofia Turkish bath and it was amazing, defo worth it and more relaxing. Had a lovely time and the service was great. Even gave us a massage and body bronze cream as a little gift. Hotels Turkish bath was defo worth it.

Just arrived back from a week at Costa mare. Heres my opinion on the hotel as a whole: Rooms - our room was really spacious, had a nice balcony with tables and chairs etc. only negitive of the room was there wasn’t any proper bedding, it was just a sheet and a throw blanket which was a funny material. The cleaners did come in even if we hadn’t marked on the door whether we would like the room cleaning. Sometimes opening our door very early morning, waking us up, even if putting the sleep light on. Pools - The pools are lovely, cleaned every day. The sun beds on the other hand are gone very quickly, and it was a struggle to get one sometimes. The bridge on the main pool, is very slippy, something to be careful of. If your taller and going on the water slides, pick your feet up as had smashed our ankles as it’s quite shallow. Food - there’s a wide range of food avalible, however drinks the only ones you can help yourself to is orange juice, apple juice etc. sometimes your waiting quite a while for them to bring you your drinks as they bring other drinks to you like Coke, lemonade. We visited the Taj Mahal curry house near blue port, which was amazing, would definitely recommend. We also did the quad bikes and the Atlantis water park which both was amazing, something to definitely look into doing. The hotel its self was really nice, however quite a way out from places. 25+ minute walks to the beach and better shops. Avoid the ‘supermarket’ type shop in the hotel as the prices are very high, the supermarket next door to the hotel is 1/3 of the price.

This hotel is really lovely. There are two pools, one is more lively and the other is more chilled. There is a block of toilets with showers between the two. In terms of the food, there is something for everyone. Breakfast had cooked items, but obvious to some, but not others, the bacon and sausages don't contain pork. Plenty of fruit, bread, cereals and cheeses etc. There was usually a chef cooking omelettes. There is a snack bar with salads, chips, kofta, burgers etc. In the evening the buffet restaurant had a salad bar, hot food including meats, fish, pasta, bread, as well as desserts including ice cream. In the afternoon there was an ice cream bar, with amazing vanilla, chocolate and mixed whipped ice cream. In terms of soft drinks and alcohol, there are coffee and juice stations at both pools, as well as bars. The cocktail list isn't huge but something for everyone. The Effes beer is good. The outside spaces are kept really clean and tidy. Used the spa for a Turkish bath and it was lovely. The gym is next to the spa. There is a small children's play park. In terms of the room, it was a reasonable size. The safe and fridge are good. The basin is outside the bathroom which was actually good. The shower took ages to warm up and could have done with a light overhead. The beds were firm but comfortable. The air conditioning only worked if you moved the remote and turned it on from immediately in front of it. Only the genuine key card worked in the slot. What let the hotel down was housekeeping. All they did was make the beds and empty the bins. Not once was the room swept or hoovered. The mugs were never washed. Linens should have been replaced every 3 days and they were not. Late checkout could only be arranged on the same day. Your room card stops working at midday and if you'd organised a late checkout you had to go and get it sorted, which is annoying and could have been done when paying. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away, and there are shops and bars close by too. There is a small shop onside, a jewellers, a salon and a tattoo studio. Unfortunately many of the other guests from the UK let us down, they were disrespectful, rude and embarrassing. Toilet paper mustn't be flushed. The animation team were fun, the evening entertainment was decent. They had dancers, comedy, bingo, and a kids' disco.

Sophia Spa Hi, Just spent a week at the Costa Mare Suites, while here my friend and I booked in for a Fun Day Spa, and WOW!!! What an experience!! From the minute we entered the spa until we left it was a fab experience. This package would suit young to old. Ozzy is a great guy, pleasant with great English and treats his customers well. The ladies in the spa treat you with great respect and help you at all times. This would be a great treat for all the mummies a day of being pampered!! Highly recommend a visit ☺️❤️

The market across from the hotel may seem cheap to you, but its products are not original. My two children got food poisoning from the snacks they ate. Everything in the market inside the hotel is original and of high quality. For your own good, choose the market inside the hotel.
