This hotel is really lovely. There are two pools, one is more lively and the other is more chilled. There is a block of toilets with showers between the two. In terms of the food, there is something for everyone. Breakfast had cooked items, but obvious to some, but not others, the bacon and sausages don't contain pork. Plenty of fruit, bread, cereals and cheeses etc. There was usually a chef cooking omelettes. There is a snack bar with salads, chips, kofta, burgers etc. In the evening the buffet restaurant had a salad bar, hot food including meats, fish, pasta, bread, as well as desserts including ice cream. In the afternoon there was an ice cream bar, with amazing vanilla, chocolate and mixed whipped ice cream. In terms of soft drinks and alcohol, there are coffee and juice stations at both pools, as well as bars. The cocktail list isn't huge but something for everyone. The Effes beer is good. The outside spaces are kept really clean and tidy. Used the spa for a Turkish bath and it was lovely. The gym is next to the spa. There is a small children's play park. In terms of the room, it was a reasonable size. The safe and fridge are good. The basin is outside the bathroom which was actually good. The shower took ages to warm up and could have done with a light overhead. The beds were firm but comfortable. The air conditioning only worked if you moved the remote and turned it on from immediately in front of it. Only the genuine key card worked in the slot. What let the hotel down was housekeeping. All they did was make the beds and empty the bins. Not once was the room swept or hoovered. The mugs were never washed. Linens should have been replaced every 3 days and they were not. Late checkout could only be arranged on the same day. Your room card stops working at midday and if you'd organised a late checkout you had to go and get it sorted, which is annoying and could have been done when paying. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away, and there are shops and bars close by too. There is a small shop onside, a jewellers, a salon and a tattoo studio. Unfortunately many of the other guests from the UK let us down, they were disrespectful, rude and embarrassing. Toilet paper mustn't be flushed. The animation team were fun, the evening entertainment was decent. They had dancers, comedy, bingo, and a kids' disco.
