I booked my parents through social tourism to go on their vacation. I sent all the required documents that were asked of me as well as the requested deposit which was for part of their participation in the breakfast. I confirmed by phone with the person in charge the receipt of the sent documents, IDs and money, all this 20 days before the arrival date. Today my parents traveled by ferry to marble, arrived at the hotel at 11 and waited until 14:00 to check in the room. During check-in, the person in charge found that they were not entitled to stay there as this hotel is not for social tourism pensioners. And they remembered to say it on the day of their arrival and not almost a month before when we booked the stay and even confirmed it with money required as a deposit. Instead of an apology for the very serious mistake and negligence of their work, they told us that they never confirmed by email that they could go, while they accepted the money without any problem and confirmed their receipt!
