Super comfortable and welcoming stay at Hotel Anker. The location was great, the room spacious and well equipped with large comfortable bed. The wine shop superb and the evening meal outstanding. Breakfast in a courtyard or bright room served elegantly with excellent choice of self service options. Situated in the heart of the old town we visited the Blue House with its exhibitions and a great little pharmacy museum literally next door. We loved this hotel and Marktheidenfeld too.

Family-run hotel with excellent service in the center of Marktheidenfeld; the guest is still the focus here! Very nice rooms with excellent mattresses (not too soft...) and very nice light but warm down duvets. Modern bathroom with pleasant underfloor heating. Good parking (free of charge) with two charging stations for electric cars. Very good breakfast; individual egg dishes can be ordered directly at no extra charge. Large selection of bread, sausage and cheese from local businesses. What was particularly noticeable: the tea is served with an egg timer so that you can easily keep track of how long it takes to brew. The hotel is very suitable for conferences - there are modern conference rooms with all technical options. The family-run Weinhaus Anker right next to the hotel is a highly recommended Michelin restaurant of a high standard; all dishes are freshly prepared from local ingredients and there are excellent wines to go with them. Particularly recommended: the 5-course menu with corresponding wines.

An individual hotel in a picturesque and extremely well-kept small Franconian town! The guest-oriented service of the staff (reception, restaurant, breakfast) is exemplary and recommended for imitation. The comfort room in the Hofgartenhaus is spacious, quiet, equipped with everything that today's traveler thinks he needs, but shows slight signs of wear in the "wooden area", which only slightly detracts from the positive overall impression. The hotel's own restaurant "Weinhaus Anker" is an experience: excellent quality, friendly service, romantic ambience (just a glance at the lovingly laid table gives hope), all of this is provided, and all at a remarkably positive price/performance ratio. It's hard to understand why the latter in particular is sometimes criticized (information from the owners)!! We liked it at the Anker. We'll be back!

Freundlicher Empfang beim Check-In. Wir haben alle wichtigen Informationen erhalten und auch die Fahrradgarage wurde uns gleich geöffnet. Das Hotel liegt in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone, sodass man nachts auch bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen kann. Zimmer sind modern und sehr sauber. Das dazugehörende Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert.
