Hotels Near Flurkreuz bei Sportpark in Markt Schwaben

Ich war zusammen mit meinem Freund 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel in Erding und ich muss leider sagen, dass ich sehr enttäuscht war von dem was uns erwartet hat. Die Zimmer sind nicht wirklich sauber, alter Teppich, Farbe fehlte an der Wand. Es gab keine Mülltüten in den Mülleimern, 3 kleine Beutel für Damenhygieneartikel, die auch nach dem Zimmerservice am nächsten Tag nicht aufgefüllt wurden, Kosmetiktücher im Bad wurden auch nicht aufgefüllt. Die Mitarbeiter in dem Hotel, aber auch die Rezeption sprechen nicht so gut Deutsch, zumindest hat man den Eindruck, dass bei Kritik auf Stur geschalten wird. Den gebuchten Obstkorb hatten wir, nicht wie gebucht, bei Anreise auf dem Zimmer sondern mussten an der Rezeption nachfragen. Dort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir diesen am nächsten Tag nach dem Frühstück erhalten. Da nach erfolgten Zimmerservice am nächsten Tag immer noch kein Obstkorb im Zimmer Stand wurde uns auf erneute Nachfrage mitgeteilt, dass ein Mitarbeiter erst dafür einkaufen gehen muss... Den Obstkorb hatten wir dann am Abend vor Abreise im Zimmer... Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten, kein Obst (nur aus der Dose), keine Beschriftung bei Wurst/Käse, Rührei, was wahrscheinlich Stunden warmgehalten wird, ohne dass Personal nach dem Rechten schaut. Allgemein wurde an beiden Tagen von uns kein Personal beim Frühstück gesehen, dass nach leeren Teller geschaut hat und die Platten aufgefüllt hat. Wir sind zu dem Entschluss gekommen, dass wir dieses Hotel und auch alle anderen Hotels der Kette nicht mehr buchen werden. Für den Preis bekommt man deutlich besseren Service. Schade dass die Plattform über die wir gebucht haben ein viel zu gutes Bild vom Hotel erscheinen lässt. Bilder sind schon älter und entsprechen nicht mehr dem Zustand des Hotels.

Although this hotel is located in county side, it’s safe to walk to/from train station, taking me around 20 minutes walking. Their facilities are great as well as their customer service.

The location was not far from the airport, and it was a very good location to use public transportation by upright in front of the train station. The direct bus from the bus stop right next to the train station to the airport was also very convenient. Room cleaning is neat every day without any work, reception staff are very friendly. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, and the surrounding restaurants are also easy to access. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay at this hotel on my next visit to Bavaria.

Meike was amazing I got stranded in Germany due to their internal industry strikes. She was amazing. She knew all the best restaurants and we're to go Very professional with a nice sense of humour. The hotel is small but the location is excellent Thanks so much Diarmuid

This is conveniently located on the Garching campus, so has just become my hotel of choice when visiting one of the research institute here. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which I like. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of reasonable quality, although exactly the same very day. Note that for short stays the kitchens are by default not equipped, but you can request this for a small extra fee. The only negative point is that there are very few facilities in the area. The only restaurant open in the evening is in the next door Marriot, but it is very poor. There are no food shops, so you need to travel to Garching to buy supplies: but that is only one stop on the U-Bahn, so quite quick.

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

Likes: Hotel was clean and quite (Good windows insulated the jet sounds quite well). Cool vibe in lobby and bar. Breakfast was good. Dislikes: 25 Euro for early check in - Why? Room was ready-to-go - High vacancy at this place... Profiteering I think. Advertised an airport shuttle online - Turns out it is only one way (hotel to airport) so add 25 Euro for taxi from MUC to hotel, plus 15 Euro to return to MUC via the shuttle - So 40 to 50 Euro extra for the Munich ”Airport Hotel” - Probably worth the few extra Euro to stay at the actual airport hotel on premise (The Hilton). Also - Hotel is sprawling, so consider this if you have any sort of mobility issue. I got little sympathy for my bad knee. It was explained that because there was a party with loud music until midnight, I had to decide between a slumber disturbed, or a hike from the lobby. May have been forgivable if they offered assistance to get to my room... Nope... In a business park with no sign outside (challenging for my cab driver to find) One darkening drape to narrow (by 30 cm) for window so a very bright morning.

The Hotel has great staff and fabulous location to the airport! The staff are without exception professional and friendly! Very impressed! The spa pool area with a bar and food service onsite is world class. In fact that facility is worth the visit and I certainly will be back! The restaurant also fabulous and a Michelins star restaurant is part of this great hotel! The one thing I do not understand, why not give one free bottle of water to the vary world traveller paying top dollars to stay. There is zero water unless you pay 6euro for a bottle! This is an absolutely beautiful 2 star hotel. It is not an airport hotel. It is a hotel near the airport. Didn't have time to use sauna, so I don't know. I waited well over an hour for the hotel shuttle. Watched all the airport hotel shuttles come and go. I couldn't call hotel with either my French or US Sim card. When they started to come back I just got a taxi. Upon checking in I was informed you take the city bus. I looked at my reservation and it clearly says ”local shuttle” and on another site it says something like ”concierge car service” Absolutely no mention of taking a bus anywhere. I looked through my confirmation emails. Not one word. That is the primary attribute of an ”Airport hotel” you fly in, jump on shuttle, get a lousy night's sleep, a shower, breakfast, and back on the shuttle. No thinking required. The should either provide the advertised services, or change the advertising.
